Ok, so, repost of a question I had before that I thought I solved. I thought I redeemed a code for the bonus content from steam special edition, but I haven't seen any of the items or anything. Is there a quest line or something I have to finish first?

Dunno what you're talking about but Warden's Keep (Soldier Peak) is a quest you start from the party camp. The frozen prisoner is the other quest (and DLC I know off) and you start that one by going somewhere on the map. Somewhere left from the lake in the middle.

First: I find Alistair annoying as hell, damned coward.
Second: The Morrigan/Alistair meeting for first time was hilarious, I also like Morrigan...

Load a save when you meat Morrigan, its hilarious especially with her accent.
When she says her mother removed you just ask "Your mother ?"

But thats the beginning because there is ton of funny stuff later on.

Code: Select all

This is IMO the funniest part of the game, but the bad thing is it doesn't show Morrigan as a nun (can happen if you bring Leliana or Wynne along with her.

Yeah that was a good origin, but seriously you must play a city elf female.
Best.origin.evar (not so cool as a male)
A lot of people on the official forum liked it.

Human noble was also nice i played it so many times i got used to it. Nan's story about the spoiled dog was also very nice.
Mage Ciricle is ok but way to much time it takes to finish.

Dalish was the worst... It was just fast and it really didn't give you any much motive... You die or you join the wordens <_<

How do you call the points u add into Dex, str and others? :D Forgot now. Anyways, I'm not sure into what I want to add it. I might make my warrior Str and Dex and use two hand weapons or dual wield for dps (which one would be better?) and get Alister as a tank. I don't know about the other party members xD Haven't got that far yet. Ya think it's a good idea?

It really depends what kind of warrior are you... Here are my cookie builds.

Tank (SS)/ 2h Warrior
focus on getting

42 str
26 dex
16 cun
and rest in con (you can add a little to will if you feel lack of stamina)

DW

38 or 42 str
36 dex
16 cun
maybe 20 con
and rest to will for stamina

Alister is the best tank, Shale is great at everything... Oghren and Sten suck at tanking... Unless you use the respec mode and change their builds/skills.

That's what I did with the berserker tree. Dual wield and jam points into STR and DEX.

It's pretty damn effective. 50% of all party damage is my warrior, and I have a mage in the group.

Spoiler!

Seems like trying to make a duel wielding warrior is a waste of a party space, where you could just have a rouge, (which would allow you to open chests, steal shit, etc.)

Spoiler!

Above is my main char, pretty good tank, only level 16 though.
Str 42 (massive armor)
Dex 26 (shield/sword talents)
Cunning to 16 (combat tactics+ coercion)
Willpower 25 (use of skills)
Con to 26 + (hp etc)
Once maxed, balance them to cons/dex

Never know if you don't try ;) Dual Wield seems cool enough, and you can always have a rogue in your party

You are wrong my dear friend... Yeah the chest stuff and all that and i'm really enjoying my rogue... But

-Warrior has better armor
-Can do more damage
-Has better specializations (Only good for rogue is dualist and maybe bard)
-The warrior skills are also useful (disengage for example or the bravery one...)
-Looks cooler

But rogues are very interesting because they have stealth + the whole trap thing is actually really good xD

P.s http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15 It's awesome ._.
Started to really enjoy the whole new sharp texture look.

Rogues don't get Berserker.

Berserker increases the damage output, and gives access to a skill that transforms remaining stamina into hard damage.

Normal mode is almost easier than Easy mode was with my sword&board warrior. With Momentum and Dual Swings running I can crank out obscene DPS. I'll get a screenshot later.

So, playing an Dalish female Elf warrior (uses bow). Have learned that I officially hate the mages tower part once you get to the fade. Takes too damn long. :(

what i meant by that is, you could have your party filled with more useful classes, having 2 warriors and a rouge seems somewhat inefficient to me now.

Iknow right, started game, was like "oh, nice bag size." Now I'm just kicking myself at every dungeon for not having enough space.
