Yeah, SRO is one hella of addicting game, but I agree with CeLL, you cant blame a game just because you arent strong enough to not play it, control yourself god dammit.
so, following the line of your argumentation....
you cant blame a drug because you are not strong enough to not use it
you cant blame life because you are not strong enough to not die/suffer/whatever in the end
and so on
that's not how nature works
some activities are addictive and can be destructive
some activities are MADE to be so.
MMOs fall into the second category
some people dont fall for them... too much.
Others screw themselves up with them.
Blaming it on the victim isnt always funny nor relevant.
Besides, the OP didnt blame SRO.
You assumed that he did then went on replying to this strawman you created.
I'm not addicted to games because i sort-of have a life (sort of, right) but i'm addicted to computer-usage because i would have much more of a life if i didnt have a comp to use all day.
it's a "passtime" much like going to the bar/pub everyday and drinking yourself out is a "passtime".
the point is, many people call gaming a "hobby" but i think they are deluding themselves.
