Ok you are right, getting bored wasn't the only reason. But why do you think i would go for +9 on a sun sword with no immortal in the first place (at least got it to +8
)? I reached my main Silkroad goals about 4 months ago when my warrior turned 81 and I got a full sun set for it. It gets pretty boring to always have to pvp the same people because there aren't any new people joining sro these days or at least hardly any.
Thought about what was holding me back from quitting SRO and found out it was the time I spend reselling to gain all those suns. So decided to go for +9 on the sword and when that failed I did the same on every other sun, failed on all acc's and destroying the earring, failed on 3 armor pieces and destroying the head made the feet+7 and didn't have elixers left in storage to try shoulder and hands so still +6 and also made the shield +0 again :S
But after that I didn't have any problems giving the suns away to friends and the sos weapon collection I had to random people who where pvping and looked like they could use a sos.
