EDIT: watch them both, NOT ONLY THE 1st ONE

A friend of mine made me watch these and after that i just stopped playing.
:!: Is it me or is Joymax trying to kill their own game.
Basically its pay to play now, if your a free user u have about 1% chance of logging in.
If you are a free user, i'd suggest buy premium or stop trying to logg in and wasting your life.

Also, i dont have anything against Arabic people, but is it just me or is half Silkroad crowded with Turkish players that can not talk English properly ? (The other half are bots...)

I do have a feeling Silkroad will die, new players will not play this game because they cant loggin. Then we have the oldgens but they will eventually stop playing to.
What is left, are bots...

men, that was a nice video. this game for legit players can enjoy it very much when the servers are not always full..
joymax has a lot of choices to make this bot gone even without banning them. they must supply gold in the item mall.

Supplying gold in item mall, wont help. The bots will still make the servers full.
U should notice how many times Joymax have announced about banning all bots, yet i see even MORE everyday. This makes me think Joymax is NOT banning any bots and getting money out of them.
For some reason i dont think Joymax cares about the game itself and the REAL players in their servers, its not hard to think why im having this in my mind.

Imagine its only 1 city in 1 server. I cant count the amount of bots fighting Chakiji warriors at the China ports. To be honest i would say there is about 75% bots in a regular server (Including some Joymax made themself for obvious purposes), around 20% premium users and 5 % free users.

Also IF a premiums user loggs in, a free user will be randomly disconnected

Cant work out what the big deal about logging in is.

Takes me anything between 15-60 minutes. I dont class that as that bad.

Then u must have been amazingly lucky.
Even premium users have a hard time logging in (like me)
You should have noticed by now, there alot of people crying about not able to logg in, where have you been ?

Cannot connect due to lack OF JOYMAX CONCERNS.
Cannot Connect DUE to BOT INFESTATION
Etc.

If you cant logg in, then just stop playing...

Also i would class logging in between 15-60 minutes for MMORPG bad
Simple reason, have you ever found any other MMORPG's where u have to wait that long just in order to logg in ? I guess not.

Most people will have been spending alot more time trying to logg in then you :(

EDIT: You are damn lucky if i compared you to this guy i found on the official silkroad site.

Funny thing is, the video is made with a lvl100 Chinese Nuker, which probably (99%) means the char is botted ... :banghead:

A lvl 100 nuker is possible with a normal premium user, but a lvl 100 str blader is alot harder to determine.

Meh, doesnt bother me how long it takes others.

I log in, alt tab, do some other crap. Look back, and i'm generally in. I've got 300 silk in my account which i was going to buy prem with.. and thought, whats the point. So for now, it's just sitting there.

me, im a blader lvl 84 atm with 2 silver ticket use for my whole silkroad career. my character is 3 years or more.... it's so hard to level since i play 5 hours a day and login 4-5 hours waiting. a total of 9-10 hours.

before i play it like an addicted player since every time i play in the morning i can log in just a second. i almost had more time in silkroad before rather than my real life activity but now i have to thank the bot, goldbots, etc... becoz of them i enjoy my life outside the cyberlife and i concentrate on my studies and now i am graduating this coming october.

See, bot is cure of addict player.
all i want to say is we must think positive in any way.
if we enjoy it then we do it but if we don't like it, find another thinks to make fun of...

Hmm, i havent seen it from that point of view.
I would agree though, as you see logging in 4-5 hours is quite a waste, considering you could do alot of stuff in those hours.

A company's main purpose is to make profit of a game, in which i would say, they have passed.
About people saying it will die and its a dead game, they basically mean the community.
Now the servers have been infested with bots, there is no community. Even Runescape's community is better then this. There are less English people in this game then i have ever seen compared to other MMORPG's. Only your guild is your communication.
Thing is, if you are a new player, there ARE NO parties to participate.
All the REAL players are at least above 40 now, so you have to do it all on your own (with the exception of having friends in the server)

Also Silkroad is bad for your comp. Why ?
You have to let your comp on for a long time.
This is bad for your HD, also your comp can get overheated, especially in the summer.

Silkroad is in general a terrific game, the graphics are really good and the gameplay is awsome, though after lvl 40 it is becoming a grindfest.

To bad it has now come to this radical state.

i read this comment on one of the vidoes it caught my eye

"1st: theres a possibility that the game might shut down for a while to clean the hackers and botters.

2nd. theres a possibility that joymax permantly shuts down silkroad.

3rd. or they might get a new gameguard and some new gms maybe 50 gms or less or more "

possibility of any of these?

There is a chance, but until now Joymax has never stated such a possibility.

Why does threads like this always show up? Dont you think everyone who plays SRO knows about what really happens down there at Joymax?
TBH, I dont give a shit.
In the beginning I did, but joymax never cared and I dont think SRO will shutdown anytime soon, there will always be addicts that wasting all their money on this game, the only thing that can make this game as great as it was in the beginning is either that Joymax starts give a shit or selling the whole shit to another company.

There are several reasons why i posted this 'shit' up.
First of all i havent played for awhile, so i was simply curious how the game is doing now.
Second, ofcourse i know 'most' people know about this, yet i have been lurking to some silkroad forums and i do see everytime people asking, why can i not loggin, well this is your answer.
Third, if you are going to continue playing the game, you would want to know its future and how well the community has been, especially if your willing to pay for it.

These threads showing up are mainly of the people actually caring about the bots.
I am simply not satisfied with how Joymax is acting, they have been announcing numerous bots punishments, yet as i said i see more everyday. Then again we can not ask to much, though if you play a game, you would want to have a nice time.

People accusing me of qqing, are not to bright about what this thread is telling you.
As i said i was quite shocked about the vids, therefore i stated my opinion.
Do not consider what i state as an fact.

This thread may be closed now.

I would say 2, whenever i logg in with premium, it is taking a very long time to get me in my character select screen (it freezes sometimes or disconnects), also i sometimes have the error, failed to connect to server. That is all.

I have the feeling i said enough already, not posting anymore in this topic

It's a F2P game, Joymax can do whatever they want, bots are their main income, so long all the legits refuse to spend more cash on this game than botters there aint gonna be a change.
If you want instant login and players that actually answer if you say "Hi" etc, join TSRO.

I dont want to offend Turkish people, but when im playing and i see something ACTUALLY talking, its in a foreign language, in this case i tend to feel its Arabic, then i see their guild name which is usually something with TR. So thats why i said that, im sorry for the misunderstanding.

I guess your right, i think i will head to other silkroad versions.
I am afraid the International edition is hopeless.
