So is it on open beta now?
Downloading, well I don't live in any of these countries, but I'll see what happens since I'm very close the UK.
Edit: That's right, it doesn't work.
*sigh*

Hrm, maybe try using firefox and downloading http://dl.mmosite.com/sun/u_sun_setup.zip That way, you can resume the download when it cuts off. It turns out that the game content ends at 43 for now because ijji hasn't given the rest of the map yet, so all I've been doing is rerunning dungeons, helping people out and camping the pk zone.

Game isn't bad.
Graphics are odd. It feels very dated and well bad. But the detail, texture and lighting effects are excellent. It feels dated yet looks great, very odd.
Gameplay wasn't bad but while I played there was constant lag. But this beta and I'm sure they are doing server tests, throttling it and what not.
The character building is pretty interesting. You have 3 trees. Two trees have skills, and the third are your passive skills. Everything from increasing hit, crit, attack power, ability to hit multiple target for your passives. The other two trees are designated by character build. You build your character not by just adding STR, INT, Agility, Vitality, contrary to some thought, vitality is your health. But you also have to use the 5 points you are given each level to level your character's specialization. In order to level any skill in the two trees, you have to add a certain number of points into the specialization. BTW, you only get one skill point each level to level skills from your passive and the two skill trees.
How did I build character?. I saw there aren't many character build guides. This is what I did.
I added 5 points into my chosen specialization every other level. The other levels I distributed 5 points into 3 selected attributes. I noticed for example, Dragon Knight had 20+ points at the start for strength, agility and vitality. So I added 3 points into strength and 1 into agility and vitality. Seemed to work ok. I noticed it was the same for other classes, always 3 attributes initially with many points added. And one always had more.
Overall I think this game has good potential, I stopped playing as I do not have the time to play it seriously and this game doesn't seem to be one I can play casually.
Looks good to me if you got the time.

Awesome! downloading atm and on the guild recruitment it says you need to be lvl 40+ so how long will that take? Also can you tell me if this game has nice PvP games (like on sro they had FW, CTF), and if its a grinder or not cause I can't grind too much without getting bored.

don't think ill ever play another mmo. You have to dedicate years to get to the point where you can actually play the game(silkroad's case job/pvp). Then you find out its worthless.

its actually quite a fun game. It's not grind-intensive at all. I got a lvl 64 healer right now (cap just got raised to 70). And it only took me 2 days to get from 50->64 by doing quests. The graphics are good..especially in the dungeons. It's relatively easy to lvl once you find a few ppl to run dungeons with. I also have 4 other characters 40+ just for pking ppl

Ok my little review on this game:
Ok so first off I will start with the part that this game is still in Open Beta stage, so don't expect to find a very stable game, sometimes you get xp for no reason even if your not killing a mob and your killing style switches randomly at times as well. But anyone who likes quest based MMO's will love this one, its ENTIRELY quest based. You don't need to grind anywhere except for dungeons, and many of the quests are just "Go talk to (certain person)". Overall it is a quick game with a cap of 70 atm and you can reach the cap in about 20-30hours of game play (rough estimate). But the main problem atm with the game is that it gets boring. There aren't too many people playing, and there is limited end game content. But don't worry because when more people play there wil be more group PvP and PvE. Also max cap in Korean version is 130 so we still got a long way to go! The community for the most part is nice and this game isn't one that a bot would work in, so its pretty much 100% legit.

IceCrash wrote: so, if i play the webzen one, can i play even if i'm from portugal? Well unless you can speak Korean or got 5-7 people coming to play with you I don't suggest playing the webzen one. After lvl20 you will be going in dungeons a lot and you will need partners, if you don't got any its extremely difficult and time consuming.
