Rates wouldn't really bother me to some extent...i would just like a higher than normal drop rate on just normal things. Maybe regular star drops a little more or something. Why i quit iSRO, grinding for days and only getting some tabs and no drops, was running low on money fast.

I absolutely love how reluctant you all are to play a 1x server with no bots, active gm's, events, quests, euro, etc.. because it takes work to get SP and NOT JUST 2 MONTHS TO CAP OMFG, because HEAVENS FORBID you want people to take PRIDE and have FUN, I got to 42 on TSRO 5 hours a day for 3 days, 52 in 6, 56 at day 12 because I cut back so much, with 16k sp left over after level 50 bard and level 56 wizard.

I think 2-3x EXP and 4-5x SP would be absolutely perfect and a HARSH CAP on powerleveling should be implemented. For those who think this isnt enough, you are most likely the type of player who visits elitepvpers and most likely don't know shit about how to party correctly or well.

6 days lvl 52 is kinda hard. I got to lvl 42 in 5 days

with 1x sxp rate. about 3 of those days were farming. If it was higher sp rates, it would seriously be piece of cake to get to lvl 50 in less then a week.

50 in 1 week
60 in 2 weeks
70 in 3.5 weeks
80 in 5.5 weeks
90 in 9 weeks
100 in 12 weeks

Silkroad is a HUGE griendfest RPG. lvl 100 in 3 months seems great for a game like this.

well i'm not a big fan of grinding 5 hours a day. i wouldn't mind the 1x because well there will be people to talk to i just would be nice to have like like 2x exp and 3x sp (to reduce farming).

In Fembria, there is no Euro. there is no Party mobs. lvl 70 skills.

On eSro, there'll be Euro. there'll be Party mobs. New skills.

It's pretty obvious that a Euro can lvl lets say what 2x faster then a Chinese.

So if a Chinese can cap in 2 months with 10x, a Euro can cap in one month. Who the hell wants EVERYONE to cap on one month.

Party mobs give about 10x more then normal mobs and are about 3x harder to kill (random numbers).

So if on Fembria you get 30 xp killing 3 mobs, you'll get 100 xp killing 1 mob in eSro cause it's a party mob in the same time

At lvl 80, a Chinese with lvl 70 skills killng a mob lvl 83 takes 10 secs, on eSro it'll take like 3 seconds cause of new skills.

So that makes what, (If it's a Euro);

10x Fembria | 1x eSro
|
30 xp killing | 10 xp killing 1 mob.
3 mobs. |
(that leaves us 20 xp behind)
Normal speed. | Party Grinding = 2x Speed
(so 10 xp x2 , leaves us 10 xp behind)
lvl 70 skills | lvl 100 skills, faster killing
(and so that would make it 30 xp).

As you can see, Fembria NEEDS to be 10x. Cause it doesn't have party mobs, it doesn't have Euro, and it doesn't have the latest skills.

On the other hand, eSro is fine with 1x cause it has Euro, meaning MANY parties, and it has lvl 100 skills meaning KB for bows, Chains for bladers and glavies, Snow Shield for all ^^.

hmm ok you are generally right but look isro it has 1x rates too and being 100= pain in da a$$, i hate getting 0.005 xp per mob like every1 else imo private means fun and ok you are right pt system makes 10x too much but rates like 3x xp and 5x sp or sth like that'll be fun tho. imo people would go tsro or sth. like that if you make 1x xp and sp why would come your pserver if it has same rates and more buggy than (yes i know you all are hardworking but come on they have a company for that

I am sure im not the only person here who doesnt want to grind 5 hours a day just to get 5%.

A suggestion: keep the 1x rates, but make the cap 60. But make it so you can acquire skills later than 60 w/ hard-to-do quests (ofc the dmg the skills cause might need to be adjusted) Then you have a reachable cap and its more pvp-oriented but with quests.

Then again, i know thats never happening

in my definition a server is:

a virtual world where HUMAN BEINGS (not bots) play and etc... (this def can grow longer :p)

I don't think even Joymax has this "server". If there is no official "server", then there won't be a pserver. Thus making the future eSro thee "server" =p get it?

I get what you want to say, but I'm talking about what most game companies do: if you pay the rights to publish the game then you're an official server. Otherwise you're a private server, which in most cases is illegal if I'm not wrong (Of course I could be wrong, it's jut my own perception)

i wouldnt mind having iSRO rates at all. i just want to play a game with all the same people i played on in ava/ovk/BA union. it was fun when we grinded for some hours, we sometimes didnt get much xp but it was fun when we learned how to play our builds. i rather play a game where i know my class than reach cap and be like spam keys ftw.

i think it'd be cool if the cap was set at 80, then implement cap raises slowly.

IMO i dont care what you guys do with this server, just make it playable lol

EDIT: i forgot to mention, it'd be really nice to get ride of sosun. like how 100cap got implemented and sos became as wonderful as it did in the past caps.

The people who are talking about making the server 1x rates make a big mistake, if you make it 1x then people will find a way to bot their way to the top, thus creating a new isro ...

I dont care if you say you will ban all bots etc... people will find a way around it sooner or later, or GMs will get less active and BOOM server filled with bots.

Even on the current pservers many people use bot, so even 10x rates are still to slow for some people. Less than 10x rates and its like a big invitation sign for people to make bots & use them :/

Just look at csro,vsro,tsro ... all 1x rates, all are advertised as legit heavens, and all are being crowded by bots already. SRO is the hardest MMORPG as for exp/kill, hardly has any quests after lvl40 ... 1x rates just doesnt work

Our launcher wont even allot bots to get past that stage of login. swsro, sjsro, ecsro all are in it for one thing....money! Ofcourse esro will make money, but one major difference is the fact it's ran by players! Not one member of the team behind esro want bots to be there, they will be im sure....but we will clamp down and render it useless to even bother botting. It will get to the stage when bots might be lucky enough to hit....level 30, and players can breeze through to cap and then bots get banned n sight! So eventually, it will be literally pointless to bot, and thats assuming for some very lucky chance they even get past level 1, as i think a system is in place to track a bot ingame just by logging in.

Also, i'm working on the new design for esro main page and forums, then i'll get it all coded and online. It wont be just esro on the homepage, it will focus on all versions of sro to become the only page you need for all news on sro, and ofcourse all the esro pages. I'll update here when i have progress

I actually find the people who say I'm fine with iSro rates smarter then people who want higher rates ^^ No offense. It's just cause they're thinking it all out when you're not.

Can't you simply do the way Fly and Nightbloom thought their pserver would be like?
At the beginning you'll get something like 10x exp, 30x sp, after a certain level, it'll decrease to 8x 20x, and again to 5x 12x.
In this way it'll be easier to reach a decent level (~40 or ~50) to start partying with decent skills, still having a lot of fun.

SjSro is 40x and everyone still bots.

So, making it 3x or 8x WILL NOT decrease the amount of bots >-> GMs will.

Str. U sayed urself in previos post, and even when u played on Venus, it's fun playng in euro party's lvling up fast, I know that even at 8x in isro in euro party in few hours 2-3 h was able to make like 30-40% without ticket.
I think we'll handle it the 8x to pass in less than 2 weeks at 3x exp 6x sp

1x rate is not really a problem in euro parties, as multiple people said; but grinding with a chinese is boring as hell. I don't want to bitch around or anything, but imo chinese should get a little higher rates. And all SP rates should definitely be higher than exp rates.
