Do they disappear like summon horses? If not, is it worthwhile to buy a grey wolf (I'm a lvl22 wiz/bard) ? Thanks in advance, and excuse me for my noobiness

No, attack pets are permanent, as long as you don't drop or sell them. They have a 'hunger bar' below their Hp bar, if this reaches 50%, they do half damage, and when it reaches 0% they die. Their hunger can be recovered with the yellow potions bought in a stable, and they can be revived with a grass of life bought there as well. And yes, it's extremely worth it to get one.

Wrong; it's 30%. If your wolf dies: no problem, just buy a grass of life as thomas42 already mentioned. Right click on the grass to use it, then click on the wolf. Especially for wizards a wolf can be useful as you can use it as your tank. Keep an eye on its hp, as there is no autopot for pets implemented in sro.

Quote: Especially for wizards a wolf can be useful as you can use it as your tank. Keep an eye on its hp, as there is no autopot for pets implemented in sro. its not useful if u can one shot every mob. and u cant rlly use it to tank cuz at a certian point the aggro will go to the char. but a lock on the other hand can control the aggro. the only time i have ever bought a wolf was for my lock, and i dont miss it.

That makes sense. Well, i like the little extra damage the wolf gives me. Sometimes i almost kill a monster and my wolf just finishes of the last bit.

If you are a nuker and you can't kill a mob in one hit, there is no need for lion shout, because your pet can easiliy finish it, while you are already attacking another mob
