I think if they were to add swimming in SRO they should require you to come up for air. Our SRO characters don't have gills! Maybe we could get scuba gear or something. If we just run naked into the water and stay down there for an hour without dieing, it's not all that realistic. Then again, it's not very realistic to swing your hands around and cause huge fire-covered meteors to fall from the sky either.

They should also make it so if you fall from a large enough height, you get hurt or killed.

i don't see a point in being underwater at all.

also, since there's not REAL Z axis in this game, don't think falling is an issue. If they do add a Z axis, no jump button please (conquer online = ewww)

Here are my thoughts:

Firstly, eradicate the stall system. Make an npc seller in each town and each user is allowed to register 5 items each. They can also puts in some item mall stuff to increase the limit of items that can be sold(e.g. people with premium get 5 extra seller slots). All items not sold in 24hrs return to storage or if storage is full are erased.

Second, in the job system make it so that no1 can attk a trader or hunter that isnt within 5 levels of you. Or in a party comparison is done on basis of highest lvl member of said party.

i hope this never happens since not every1 can afford to pay $15 every month.
Besides there are plenty of free mmo's that dont have half of the charisma of SRO yet still manage to make a decent amount of profit don't you think?
Besides even if it takes a year if joymax at some point of time actually manages to bring the bot infestation under control im sure its profits will only increase since one the main turn-offs of this game right now is the inability of new players to log in, and i doubt any1 here seriously beleives that gold bots whether from companies or single players buy a lot of silk(or do they buy silk at all...unlikely)

Oh also how about increasing the xp/sp and gold rewards of jobbing for traders and thieves to balance out the gold circulation of a server and take off the focus from just grinding since this game is after all (in my opinion) a pvp based game

i have others but i will probably die b4 any of these even happen so don't really wanna bother,

Somekind of Professions like Armorcrafting/Weaponcrafting could be cool.

For protectors you have to get items from Mujigis or Sosungs (or everything that has leather) and those items could be Alchemy Materieals. For Garments you would need cloths, feathers etc. For Armors you qwould need Stones and Metal Bars.

Oh And Also, CTF could be chanched to something like Battlegrounds in WoW, different areas, tickets could be chanched to diffrent battleground marks, and each mark has better chanche to get good item (10 Marks = One Reward),Good Battlegrounds Could be Earth Ghost Canyon Battleground, Roc Mountain Battleground or something like that.

Why the hell would it be $30-$50 a month if the game were p2p? Every single p2p game out there is pretty much $15 a month.

my mistake, "not everyone can afford to pay $15 a month"...though the point wasn't the monthly price :P

The only minigames or additions i can think of to sro is from runescape(yeah i no its horrible)since i played it before. Anyway
here is the link: http://runescape.salmoneus.net/mini_games.html
i think ones shud be added from those list shud be:
1)duel arena
2)castle wars
3)barrows
4)tzhaar fight caves.
5)Pest control.

and sro's monster respawn shud be 30 minutes for uniques.

Castle Wars is basically CTF and Duel Arena is just PvP with wagering on the fight. I like the idea of Pest Control though. :)

I think something could be done with the the little thing in the top-right corner of the screen...the map

I was thinking the can give the type of mobs different color. For instance, party mobs will be a different color, and so will regular mobs and champions, giants, elites and uniques. Also having a filter to filter out some of the dots like academy members or other random players (the yellow dots) would me nice. It's a small addition, but it would be nice too have.

Well I think it'd be a bit unlikely that all 50 members of a guild and 20 of your friends would all be close enough on the map to you so they show up on the mini map. Well maybe don't show them on the minimap, but just the full map.

Atlantica has a pretty nice offline stalling feature. Players can leave their items in the market for others to see. They can even check and compare prices with other players who have the same item they sell. :D

SRO needs a marriage system, aside from just buying wedding avatar dresses. Jade Dynasty seems to have one, but I haven't have the opportunity to look into it yet.

Maybe SRO should also have a system where players can rule, maybe through election, different cities. Instead of just letting a guild take over a fortress, the guild leader can be the Emperor of Jangan for example. Elect government officials to help run the city, control NPC sale prices, layout of the city, etc. Court system to punish players who misbehave, etc. Same on euro side. The two leaders can declare war on each other, and guilds can declare a civil war on the leadership if needed.

To be honest, that system would be abused. They would lower the prices of everything, then buy out all the high range equipment, then once they got out of power, resell for 1000%-2000% profit.

I like the idea, and it could work, but too many people would abuse it.

How many people actually buy NPC items anyway? If they set NPC prices for 10D NPC wizard staffs to 5k, get out of power, and try to sell for 5m, the new people in power would just likely set prices to 3m to undersell the abusers.
