 Post subject: Balance of China Characters.

I was thinking about 2 mastery limits, when I came up with this:

Considering all possible combinations, this is what I came up with. Seems to make sense if you consider China characters hybrids.

1) Fire + Wep = Str Hybrid
2) Light + Wep = 50:50 Hybrid
3) Ice + Wep = Int Hybrid
4) Force + Wep = Pure Str
5) Ice + Fire/Light = Pure Int

Does that seem to make sense? Having an imbue seems to make me think that going hybrid would maximize dmg. Fire would help make up for the increased Str while Ice would help make up for increased Int balance. The nukes would hit about the same as well.

hmm... Force+Weap sounds interesting.
Don't think any1 has tried it without Ice/Fire/Light.
Thing is, Weapon skills already came with statuses, Force itself is good because of statuses.
Imo, Force is meant for Int.

only sword and blade got status..

pach,heuksal both.. have no status.. so dont say something u dont know.
both bow and glavie can go force.. blade isnt really that effective cuz it already have status.

Well, if u read properly, we are talking abt when its Capped at 150.
Which means you can only take 2 tree.
If you're str, weapon already took 150. Its only natural to take fire at 150.
So. U wanna go Weapon+Force without the Fire Imbue and the Passives? Go ahead.

150 Wep/Force as pure str can be pretty strong I think.

thinkin' the same
fire lack will be pain in the ass but imbue which base on int dodn't do big diffrence in dmg but no buff will hurt...
on the other hand we will gain a lof of debuffs with stun also on 110cap propably, debuffs will give about 1/3 extra dmg and for example crit on debuffed int chars would 1hit enemy ;)

well.. there is no proof that glavie have status.. only dull,stun.. (dunno if there is more)
so.. yes.. i would go glavie+force @ 150cap.
force (the point of it is the debuffs) would be much more effective at higher lvls.
and .. omg im so bored to write.. xxD

But how about Weapon 150, Force 145 and Fire 5 ?
There was some test here in this forum, it said that the difference between the lowest and the highest imbue was very little (in comparison with the SP / MP needed). That would clear out the lack of the imbue ;) (and also cost way much less SP , because 5 masteries from 145 to 150 will need LOTS of SP...

but with heuksal 145 you would lack 5% of attack, which can be received by mastery....
on the other hand...you could also be right about lvl 150 force skill, because all force skills came at full 10 lvls...

That will be the next hard decision :)
weapon 145 or force 145.... (if we take my suggestion)

well.. if that force skill.. was very usefull.. and really needed.. so i think 145 weapon will be the choice and 5% more phy attack wont matter.. if the skills was really better then that..

Um wouldn't Fire give a pure str on lvl 150 around 30% damage increase ? its 19% right now at 100 while force gives you division and stun i would stay pilling off the division would be fast enough while the Fire build gives you constant high damage ? or am i seeing this wrong ?

but you dont know how good the next debuffs will be... at fire you can be quite sure that there will only be stronger buffs (atleast i think so...)
or force buffs for yourself, like the constant healing from clerics (that's missing too)
and do not forget: a good force char can heal himself always up while you attack.

or they fix the bug with spamming the puri pills, then you would have a big problem, too.

this kind of works... however.
only for euros. back before euros didnt exist people experimented with hybrid builds and the problem was that pure chars or hyb int chars were much more likely to come out on top as far as i can remember.

i think now it would be ok for euros but ch vs ch chars may fall a bit.
however back in the 60 cap. pure int bower was useful xD

If you take a look at Media.pk2, there are 2 possible caps. The first is 120. Silkroad's current maximum degree in the media is 12, which equals to cap 120. The second possible cap would be 140, which can be found in the experience file.

But let me tell you something. Don't even think about 120+. If you're still legit, quit or stay on the grounds of reality. If my calculations are correct, you'll need 28 hours, 24/7 grinding to level from 140 0.0% to 140 99.99%. For us, legits that one level would take up to five months by playing 5 hours a day.

i think its best not to start cap limit debate. the cap limit is 100. its not any higher in isro yet so lets just concentrate on that xD

The third cap would be X , because joymax will always want to raise money.
and about the grinding time: joymax won't care and the advantage of theory is, that you dont need to grind those 5h a day for 5 month to get the lvl up , just to talk about it :)

one more idea of me: why not at lvl 150 cap (if its ever reached..) to do 130 weapon and 20 ice for the 20% snow shield? ^^ and the imbue?

Cept they were originally suppose to be good at 1 v 1. Islam should be the best I think, China should be balanced, while euros were suppose to only be good in team pvp.

That would be my point. We won't get the next cap for a year probably. But it's just a guess anyway. Nobody can predict that. It could be opened tomorrow as well, heh.

Which is why I think JM kept several skills in reserve. They will be able to tweak it last to help balance China characters out. I don't think light, sky, and counter will be released until after islam or with islam once they've tested the effects the new race will bring in.
