We don't need to get to lvl 70 in a korean mmorpg to be logical.
U dont need to get to lvl 70 to be illogical either which most are been nowadays, imo rename the forum to something else or gtfo if u hate the game so much.
People buy premiums just to get into this game which costs what? Bout 15$/month right? (I can't even confirm that since I can't even get on their site). You guys pay to get into the game, and then complain about bots, shit service, lack of gms, all of which Joymax could care less, cause they're raking in the money from you guys anyways (lulz).
And then theres a game called World of Warcraft (just one of the many I could have chose from) which also costs 15$ a month with no bots, pretty damn good service if you ask me, and active gms (I would assume). +You won't have to keep pouring money out to give your character an advantage because everybody is equal without a cashshop to give you 2x xp or any of that shit.
I don't hate SRO, im just keeping people informed (Which in this case, I got asked to)
Now tell me whos illogical.
EXACTLY.
That's exactly how I saw it when I left. I never played a game with a monthly fee ... due to principle. I'm an "old" gamer - in my 20s - been playing for years. When I started out, NO game was monthly fee - online or offline.
So - I played, it was cool. Then it got so damn slow, I couldn't move a single level without playing for a WEEK or a MONTH - what gives?
Get a gold ticket. Oh, the pace picked up. But wait - I see myself moving from free, to pay. Pay. Pay for this service? For this non-service, and bot haven?
When you're paying as much as you do ( ^ up there, $1K on paypal? LOL? ) for this game - compare it to World of Warcraft.
Who wins the fight? This game is garbage compared to WoW. Compare it to AioN. Does SRO come close?
I think, SRO doesn't even come close to the dog crap that WoW or AioN scrapes off the bottom of their shoes. WoW/AioN's shit is better than SRO - there is no comparison, no contest. [ Say, do my metaphors fly over your head, or not? Because they will fly over the "yes, no" oneliners heads - definitely. ]
----------
So - if you've got friends playing, consider SRO an overglorified IRC client. Don't pay joymax or the black market a cent. ( and suggest your friends on SRO get a real IRC client, and play a real MMO - you'll save money. )
----------
On another side note - sitting in a chair, doing the same boring thing over and over, for hours on end ... with no end in sight. What does this sound like?
Yeah. Sounds like WORK to me.
I don't play "WORK: THE GAME". Right after I stopped SRO - I picked up one of those games where you can start playing at 100% within 5-10 minutes of starting the game. I had *FUN* and I enjoyed it. After wasting time with SRO for like a year - it was like waking up from a really long sleep. At least, that's how I saw it.

Its worth it.
Last off - let me bring my combinatorics into play. That's binary logic for the rest of you.
- User posts to forum.
- Forum has rule: you cheat, you are banned.
- User posts record of paypal to show off foolishness.
- User blacks out a portion of paypal record with "xxxxxx"
- "xxxxxx" is not a valid retailer, therefore - this must be a name of a retailer blacked out for some reason.
- (This one is a whopper.) If the user spent $1800, it can be assumed the user has a job. The user must use their Paypal account/credit card for other uses. If the user has other transactions, the irrelevant transactions have already been removed. They are irrelevant to the topic of silkroad online. The information posted is not a complete statement.
- "xxxxxx" is related to cost of Silkroad online, or it would not be posted to this forum.
- The only legitimate retailer for Silkroad online - is Joymax.
- If you are buying from a legitimate retailer, why do you need to black out the name?
- Therefore, user who posted blacked out paypal record is a cheater / rule breaker - who is insulting our intelligence by posting the above list of transactions right here.
In the real world, we call it "probable cause".
Like the guy with a bag of weed sitting in the front seat of his car, that he just stepped out of.
"Officer, why are you busting me for drug possession? I don't got any on me!"
Uh-huh.
[ On a side note: $1800 on a game?
WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? ]

Because there are 500 future former players on each server who will be asking the same question soon.Multiply this by 4-5 years of people quitting due to the failure to control bots and produce a decent game.
This is at least, over 9000 people who have quit, and might be interested to see, "Say, I wonder if this game has improved in the weeks/months/years since I left. Nobody can fail THAT bad."
Well guess what, there's always Joymax to be the first to fail THIS bad.
To produce a game that's decent, and let it go completely to hell - and not give a flying f---.
