They don't want to be identified in a YouTube video for dry humping some obstacle in the game while trying to get to a mob on the other side of it. Thats the reason. Knowing how people would respond here if their char name was known they hide it. It is that simple. well, well, well, what's the point of this thread? If you seek for answers, I'll give you: - some want privacy - some bot and don't want to go to EB
Now, you got the answers, what are you gonna do next?

It makes me happy that whenever somebody blocks out their name, somebody else on the forum thinks "HES A FUCKING BOTTER, I KNOW IT, BUT I CANT DO ANYTHING *RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE*"
It really does, and I love it even more when somebody accuses somebody even with their name blocked.

You fail harder then SRF ever can. It is the best they can do. We have a point here. It just is not like this in any other game period and we all know why. They can't defend the people who do this so they attack the people that point it out. Kill the messenger so to speak. But the message still remains. They can't argue their position because basically they agree with ours the only difference is that while they understand these people are botters they don't believe this should be pointed out or those people banned. So yes all they can say is stop whining or FAIL. And that means WIN on on our part lol.

wow the poster has struck a nerve with some of you! People make vent topics on everything else related to the game and that's all he is doing here so get over it. But I kind of agree with OP , there is some times when you make a SS ingame that is non-achievement related , so nobody need to see any info for that. However if u have the need to brag and show off your level you shouldn't have nothing to hide, If you do , well you should have no biz bragging in the first place, jus play an have fun, give yourself a pat on the back.

Like I said b4 and I'm now saying again. I don't care about your character's name..I don't care about what your character has (weapons gear etc). Don't care that much what your screen shot is trying to show us period... What makes me roll my eyes is the pathetic excuses as to why you blurred your info...
I know that there are some people who probably aren't botters that blurred their name but the chance of that in a game like his is real low. So spare us the lame reasons. Lempi if you and rest don't care about what bothers me then don't post anything here. Because participating in something that you could care less about shows you have no lives...By the way nice avatar.

I posted a similar thread about this issue earlier, and I completely agree with you. Censoring names on screenshots is complete BS and just a loophole to remain here as a botter without being caught. Quote: Your right to anonymity
Amendments 4 and 5 of The United States Bill Of Rights protect the right to be free of unwarranted and unwanted government intrusion into one's personal and private affairs, papers, and possessions. Article 12 of The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Anonymity also serves whistle blowers, free speech advocates, and people just looking for personal privacy online. Privacy is not a crime and anonymity is not morally ambiguous or wrong, they are your right. The United States Bill of Rights has no enforcement whatsoever over an online video game. Unless the game violates the immediate rights of the American citizen. You play within the game and everyone is allowed to see your name. If amendment 4 & 5 had any legal authority over MMORPGs then it would be demanded by law of the United States for games to have an option to hide your name in-game.

If they can't blur out their name, they won't post SS, they want to hide in the shadow. But since they blurred it out now, we can tell who bot, who don't
