i didnt read the whole thread or even your whole post.

thieving is built into the game, and a part of the reality of the silk road of old. traders should be to the understanding that they will likely get robbed.

scamming is not part of the game. scamming happens when you exceed the boundaries set by the game to acheive gain, aka selling shit for too much (1,000,000,000+,) selling digital items for $$ and selling accounts for $$ or In game Gold. this is not built into the game.

Do you seriously get sensitive and protective over a video game?

OH ITS IMMOROAL! T_T

No it creates a triangular system, its historical, and the traders know what their risking.
Not to mention (for the second time) its a video game.

Mmmm the satisfying taste of fresh blood, I don't sleep at night silly.

On the other hand, I completly understand that without thieves, there wouldn't be a job system so it is essential that there are thieves.

My question to the thieves here is, don't you feel bad when you rob a 3* level 30 trader whos just starting to learn the basics of the game, trading with his last few mill of gold, just trying to have fun?Mmm fresh meat, they will know no mercy Put yourself in their shoes, would you like it if someone 3 times your level came and 1 nuked you and your trans, and stole all your loot? I appreciate that these bigger 5* trades with a lvl 80+ trader and 7 hunters protecting it is a different story, they will probably have money to loose. Anyway I just want opinions, do hunters on SRO lack empathy? They are more sadistic than us thieves

Besides, no one has the bawls to do trades like that without 7 hunters. The jobbing system is at a stand still cause everyone is to busy botting or has no bawls. If they took 1* protection off the game would be alot better. Hunters would be more busy and the game would be more active.

not immoral at all.

are hunters immoral? because basically they are killing people. is it right to kill a thief? is it right to steal the stolen? is it right to hunt criminals for money like hunters do and mercinarys do?

think about the moral issues in this game!

Whats with all this immoral and moral crap? The game is built that way..its called tri-conflict. You all agree to play it knowing what it holds. So why are you guys carrying on this pointless discussion?

The fact that you can kill anyone in the game (Trader or not) once you reach lvl 20 should make you not bother wanting to question the morality of thieving.

Ask RatThief on Sparta if he thinks its immoral.... that guy would rob his own mother. I need to bring 2 parties of hunters if I know he's out there searching for trades

What's all this crying about thieves being immoral? Thieves are just trying to make a living. If you are in a thief outfit and go to thief town, then look at the map (chinese at least), you will see plain as day that thief town is INSIDE Jangan. It's hidden, but it is there. Proof that they belong in the cities, they are just not accepted.

Thieves cannot purchase trade goods from the trade shop, so they are forced to wait for traders to take those goods outside the gates. Thieves are then FORCED to rob the loot so they can make a decent living to support their wives/husbands and children.

And then hunters have the AUDACITY to come by and KILL that thief? FOR SHAME!

Hunters feel no sympathy for the thieves when they kill us off for a trade that they are in no way linked to. When they can pull it off, that is.

You should stop playing games...
If you think thieving is immoral, you should not play this game.
Not even any game imo.
Most games involve killing. If thieving is not moral, murdering is worse.

That's why hunters exist. Not only hunters could gain exp after the trade is done, but also gold weekly for contribution to the hunter guild.
The problem is: is a hunter lvl 100 willing to help a noob to trade or not?

If anyone think it's immoral, how about stop playing counterstrike or any game which involves killing and robbing.
