Actualy, not all nukes have the same casting time "nub", and the range aint the same either :)
The 71 nuke is faster, and so are the level 30 nukes.

casting time is different 100%.
First book of fire holds the fireball in his hands for like no time, while at 2nd book the character holds it for a sec.

Idk about range but the casting time for FWW seems slightly longer than the others, (apart from bomb, which is way faster than the other nukes). I don't have proof tho, just seems tht way.

Range
Fire* > Cold > Light
Casting time (Fire nukes)
AOE Nukes > Single nukes
*All fire nukes have the same range.

flame wave wide has a longer casting time and a shorter range

flame wave bomb has medium range and a really fast cast time

flame wave hellfire has the same cast time as wide and a much longer range

ice rain has a shorter cast time than flame wide but the same range

lightning nukes have about the same range as flame wave bomb and a longer casting time

I am 100% sure of everything I just said, anyone who doesn't agree doesn't know what they are talking about. When I played this game I changed my build multiple times and have had every nuke in the game at some points other than the last ice nuke.

to put it more simply I will make a chart

Base: Flame wave bomb

List of faster casting nukes

none (all of the first nukes have the same cast time)

List of slower casting nukes in order from fastest to slowest
all lightning nukes and ice rain
flame wave burning
flame wave hellfire
flame wave wide

list of nukes with a longer range with longer range attacks first
flame wave hellfire
flame wave burning
(all first nukes have the same range as flame wave bomb)

list of nukes with a shorter range with longer range attacks first
all lightning nukes
flame wave wide and ice rain

I didn't include the ice nukes other than ice rain because I dont know about them but I'm guessing they are same as flame wave bomb in terms of casting speed and range unless they are falling from the sky which would mean the range is shorter
