I really want the best build for my blader. People keep on telling me to go either 100 bich fire ice and buy countless of speed drugs or 100 bich fire force. I have noticed that in lv 100 gap, they added one more chain skill that seems to be quite useful for debuffing. With that being said, there is a chance that bladers wont even need force at all. I am not taking the chance taking force, even though my friend is pushing me to get it. My opinion 100 ice is good, but I do not wish to have money problem in the future because of the speed drugs.

The two options I am really considering are 100 bich fire 80 light 20 cold and 100 bich fire 48 ice (for the Power Guard of Ice because it looks really cool to see it with fire buff) 52 light.

If you were me, which one would you choose? Other alternatives are welcomed. I play in Hera, since it is a new server I wish to be one of the best bladers as possible. Can you guys help me achieve my goal?

Regards,

Tim

out of your options i would choose 100bich/fire 52light 48cold because you get decent speed buff from 52light and good mag% and parry. also 48 cold is good for more tank ability.

Thanks for your reply rozzaa. I will consider that option and ask some others to see what they think.

In the mean time.. After talking to more people, we found one more interesting alternative: 100 bich fire 68 ice and 32 light. Comment on this build too please.

the additional defence from cold below lvl 70 is not really worth mentioning when they are outdated by 10-15 lvls,
only real advantage would be a better snow shield then.
but str builds cannot take more than 30% snow or they will lack mp too often.

ice 100 would give a huge defence:
phys defence: +337 in total (buff isnt very useful at this point lol)
snow shield: up to 60%

but as you said, you dont want to spend much on speed potions.
speed:+0%
:->

the 20 ice 80 light offers the snow shield for better tankability and speed,
parry buff isnt worth taking.
speed:+73%
phys defence: +5 in total (buff isnt very useful at this point lol)
snow shield: 20%

SP= +82,479

Very versatile

and 100 bich fire 48 ice (for the Power Guard of Ice because it looks really cool to see it with fire buff) 52 light.
least sp for this build needed, however, the only real advantage would be some speed
since
speed:+55%
phys defence: +28 in total
snow shield: up to 32%

SP= +25,971

speed:+38%
phys defence: +97 in total
snow shield: up to 42%

SP= +41,859

i'd go for the light 80 ice 20
speed:+73%
phys defence: +5 in total (buff isnt very useful at this point lol)
snow shield: 20%
SP= + 82,479

pros:
-very speedy
-slightly better damage with mag. attack buff
-snow shield of 20% (enough to tank better)

contras:
- low ice--> low phys. defence bonus (actually almost nothing)

Really nice input Pan_Raider(`_´), I am impressed at how much time you put in it and I thank you for that.

I still don't really like the fact that some people are taking light JUST for the speed advantages. I mean.. 68 ice 32 light is actually okay imo since I am planning to use garmet iff I take 68 ice 32 light.

If I am convinced enough to take 20 ice 80 light, I would be using armor. 80 light itself gives 73% speed and armor gives 0% speed while 32 light gives 38% and garmet gives 20%. It's pretty much like 73% VS 58% speed-wise and armor(a lot of phy def) VS garmet(a lot of mag def) defense-wise.

Comment on that please :)

Note: where did you get the exact stats? Do you have some kinda calculator that gives you an exact amount of each skills? If so, can you share?

Tim

Well it really depends on preference. Answer this question:
Do you like being speedy?
Do you like being tank?
If you can't handle anything without speed, and say your poor, i think 80 light and 20 ice would be good. Since 80 light gives high speed and parry and 20 ice would have 20% snow, gives a bit of edge in tanking.
However, being a tank, 68 ice and 32 light would be a pretty good tank, though 100 ice would be even better. In the end, it is all about preference.
Also garms>armour on a blader.

don't seem to see anymore dual weapons around. as such i'll like to put in bich/heuksal/fire. just get euros to solve all your other needs.

light gives 2 other advantages:
parry (not worth mentioning), since it has been proven that the buff sucks
and mag. attack buff, gives you a slightly noticable increase in mag damage
but it would help you more if you were some str hybrid

so yes: it is actually about the balance of speed/phys defence.
you must watch the change of phys defence over the lvls:

ice gives an increasing amount of defence per lvl
20-68 is a 48 lvl difference with a 87 def. difference
compared to 100from lvl 68:
a 32 lvl difference with a 240 def. difference

87/48 --> 1.8 defence per lvl
240/32--> 7.5 defence per lvl

so ice is only really worth it past the 70's

light on the other hand, decreases the speed bonus as it gets to lvl 55
lvl 12-45 is a 33 lvl difference with a 33 speed difference
and 52-85 is a 33 lvl difference with a 22 speed difference

33/33 --> 1 % speed per lvl
22/33 --> 2/3% speed per lvl

If I am convinced enough to take 20 ice 80 light, I would be using armor. 80 light itself gives 73% speed and armor gives 0% speed while 32 light gives 38% and garmet gives 20%. It's pretty much like 73% VS 58% speed-wise and armor(a lot of phy def) VS garmet(a lot of mag def) defense-wise.

either with ice 20 or 68, Garment should be your first option..
since you gain 20% more speed,
use 20% less pots
this is important for the snow shield which will render you low on mp as soon as you get hit too hard and frequently
and since you have alot of phys defence already and the shield adds some more + block.

Prot/Armor would be best (only) for stuff like parties at phys. mobs 5-10 lvls above yourself
where garms arent sufficient,
or if you decide to linger at mobs with phys damage for a longer period
