well i would like to learn the best way to solo my way to 20. i got back into the game and deleted both my 20s in order to remake with a wiser skill selection ( they had close to no progress in them so dont worry ).

things to know about my account is that i have the full game and all my toons are factions.

Well im assuming you mean soloing, as in doing a survivor run. So 1-20 with no deaths.

Before i explain, do you have all the exspansion packs or?

by soloing i mean not to have a guildi or a special group of people who are already 20 come help me with their "x class/x special build". that being said i will do my best to group with competent people along the way.

my account holds prophecies/factions/nightfall/eotn.

Start in either:

Profecies *Best looking characters*
Factions *Quickest leveling in starter area*

Once you get out of pre searing or main land cantha. Then get as many hero's as you can.

Seriously, sometimes i think hero's are much better then normal people. Then it's just a matter of progressing through the story line and questing for levels.

But if your like me and can't stand doing that and you want level 20 as quick as possible, then follow the guide here
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/show ... t=10155813

Hope i helped a bit.

Well with my assasin. I was going for the Survivor Title.

So that means not dying once.

Survivor = 140,600 exp (Just getting to level 20)
Indomitable Survivor = 587,500 exp
Legendary Survivor = 1,337,500 exp

Well if your starting a new character. Then it's not gonna be easy, especially if you have no friends to give you a helping hand.

I'd take a class that can farm, such as a monk or assassin. Then just focus on one thing that you would want to farm. Such as raptor farming with an assassin. You can get cash that way.

And if you need cash for gear and stuff, then finish the story-lines then start vanquishing, you get platinum rewards for VQing areas. Try and find a good guild or group of people that you can go regularly with so it dosen't seem as boring to do.

Well yesterday i downloaded the trial and its awesome ^_^
Its really cool, i was instantly hooked.I wish i started it earlier instead of wasting my time on stupid little games.
Tomorrow i'm buying the game.

Little question...I tried a few classes, but i still have to try the rest.
Think i want to be an E/Mo,fire build should i focus more on healing or protecting prayers ?

For general play [PvE] I would personally chose Healing spells.

Anyways you can change your second profession anytime you want for 500g once your at a certain point of the storylines

I suggest you to get the Trilogy(Prophecy,Nightfall,Factions) and buy EoTn once lv.20.(I bought EoTn for 9,99$ at EBGames 6 months ago)

Personally, I loved Guild Wars for a good 2-3 weeks after I got EOTN, and a good month before that... I had 6 level 20s in the Trilogy 1 proph 3 fac 2 nf, and its fun to level and quest and do all that stuff but it loses its novelty by the time youve done each campaign once. EOTN is so boring and can be completed in about 5 hours, but in order to be effective at PvP you need those skills, so dish out that $30 or else you will suck in pvp. Every four months or so a necessary expansion comes out for about $50 so its the same thing as paying each month...

All in all, its fun and entertaining, but the missions can take an hour each in proph which sucks, sometimes more with bonus. In factions you NEED to finish them in about 20 mins to get the master reward so they are speeding you through it with no time to rest, and in Nightfall the missions are unbelievably stupid and incredibly difficult towards the end, and the enemies will KILL you unless you have some really beefed up heroes with good skills. So guild wars really needs to expand its gameplay and make it much more unique.

In pvp you will face the same build for EVERY SINGLE CLASS. Generic WoH monk is necessary, a VoR mesmer, a PS/Caster Sin (when i played), fire spike or water hex ele etc. This game INVENTED the /faceroll...

If you want to be content for a few months of just title farming and exploring go for it, but be warned, dont be disappointed after.

Well they arn't going to launch any new stand-alone/expansion until GW2,
And its like any other games, every class has that "cookie cutter" build that 80% of the players will use,and their's that 20% of pro's that will creat their own build

Then you get hacked, and all those hours go to waste. I Farking hate area-net now lol. They claim there was no 'unauthorized' loggins or trades from my characters to any other account in the past 6 months. So no stuff back.

Anyway, GW is mega fun. I agree PvP is clone vs clone, but PvE has a good roleplaying element to it. I like the team atmosphere in missions, and the beautifully crafted game areas they have made.

Yes, the GW endgame sucks ball. But getting there is soo much fun!

???

I saw this game is 49,99 (for all of them) on steam right now. It tempted me to redownload GW.

I redownloaded the game. I'm thinking about renaming my warrior. He was my first char and I hate his name. The only idea I have is using my real name, Dominic Van Ha. I need name ideas! and explanations on this free storage panel!

Guide to Free Storage Panel. :3

I am totally digging this update. The gift giving traveler NPC is great too, just wish I'd have gotten a miniature Yakkington, he's so adorable lol. Either way I made tons by selling the flowers to people who were too lazy to get them themselves.

New daily missions are pretty fun too.
