In order to not hijack the other thread, I've made a new one for us to discuss what hybrid int builds are best.

um... s/s has better moves than bladder... s/s has everything blade has + nukes...

anyhow you could go hybrid s/s

doesnt have the hp the blader has  and not to mention when snow is down the s/s will die

/fixed

What about a 1:5 hybrid int? I think that it'd have enough hp, snow shield, shield, kd to survive. It's chains would do crazy good damage and if you followed them up with a kd+stab or two you'd be deadly.

Anyways, what build would you recommend for a 1:5 hybrid int s/s?

I don't know. I prefer full INT for a SS nuker.
Masterys Bicheon/Cold/Light or Bicheon/Fire/Cold ?
:D

A hybrid 1:5 s/s wouldn't be much of a nuker. It's main power would come from it's chains, stabs and what not.

lol, I was about to argue against that exact reply. Yes, the hybrid will be able even rather easily, even without snow shield, to survive/tank. Knockdown skills + shield + hybrid ftw. And yes, it'd definitely be deadly. About a build? Hm, I'm pretty sure you already know the details so I'll be very brief, and It's the same as for any other int build, so 100bicheon/100fire/100cold if you want maxed defense and all cold + fire gives, 100bicheon/100lightning/100cold for speed and cold, or maybe possibly 100bicheon/100fire/40lightning/60cold or something near this for increased damage and mobility at the cost of a lot of survivability. I wouldn't recommend this last one nevertheless. And, a hybrid 1:5 would be a nuker yes. It's main power would come from it's nukes.

I had a 1:5 hybrid nuker. My chains did better damage then my nukes. *shrugs*

What level was it exactly? I seriously think there's something wrong there.

EDIT: Yes, there's definitely something wrong there, probably because you were low level or because of your masteries or I don't know  . A hybrid 1:5 is not much different from for example a 1:7 hybrid int. A hybrid 1:5 would have nearly 16lvls of STR at 100 cap, while a 1:7 would have nearly 12lvls of str. If you compare both, it's a very small difference (only like 12 STR points difference, and this at cap, before it's smaller). A 1:5 hybrid int should have nearly 85% magical balance naked, and a 1:7 would have nearly 87% magical balance. It really is not a big difference. I'm almost sure the difference in damage from both would be rather small, therefore as the main income of damage from a 1:7 hybrid is nukes, I say the main income of damage from a 1:5 hybrid would be nukes as well. This is very arguable though, as weapon skills deal more DPS and such, but the point is this hybrid is not much different from a 1:7 hybrid int.

Recommended build for a s/s nuker with 30 str points already put into it, and a 90 sun sword? :D Was wanting 100 bich/light/ice but not sure if I needed the full snow shield.

Know a hybrid int s/s who had +/- 25 str added at 90.
He hit higher then 95% of the pure int s/s nukers for some reason, and basicly only pvp ed without snow, dint need it.
Only against real big damage dealers he'dd use a snow xD > its a nice build :)
