If your nuker is full int I wouldnt switch... you dont need Fire's magic defense buff or the passive, so your not really gaining much of anything.

Besides... the difference between the fire nuke and the lightning nuke is minimal at cap.

+1

Light helps int builds a lot more then fire does. I'd personally stick with light.

But if you really want to drop light for fire you could always do the 100bich/100fire/100cold build. The only major downside to this build is not having grasswalk+phantom. So you'd better be ready to start coughing up the cash for speed pots.

If u've got the cash for speed pots, it's a decent choice. U'll make up the loss in magical damage increase with ur stronger nukes+imbue. U will lose ghost walk, but i guess u can't have everything. U will gain a nice magical defense buff, which is still useful, even if u r full int. U'll also get immunity and the best part, a larger range of nukes.

Both go up to lvl100. The difference is light has one strong nuke, and the rest are weak compared to it. Fire on the other hand has more nukes.

Iirc light is the stronger nuke at the cap. Not entirely sure though tbh.

Like fire's magical defense buff was the only thing it offered. You gain a lot from going with fire, as you gain a lot from going with lightning. They are different from one another, cannot really compare them, it's up to personal preference.

That's not exactly true. Both help a lot, but in different ways. That's your personal opinion.

Fire nukes are, hmm, more than considerably stronger than lightning nukes, and fire has a wider variety of strong nukes to choose from, while lightning has basically only one strong nuke.

Basically, lightning gives you mobility and speed. Fire gives you a wider variety of nukes, stronger nukes, magical defense buff, stronger imbue, fire wall, easier immunity, and de-stealth/de-invisible skills.

An Int's main damage comes from their mag %. Light increases your mag damage while fire only increase your phy damage. Which for an int is hardly anything in the first place. Hence my reasoning for light>fire for int builds.

Yeah it is my personal opinion. Which is why I said "I'd personally stick with light."

Light gives you speed, phantom, lion shout, better mag damage, better parry ratio, and some good AoE nukes which are wonderful while grinding.

Also, the the imbue difference really isn't that much. At the 100 cap Lights imbue is this: 723~1344 and Fires imbue is this: 912~1520

Fire makes up the loss of magic % by having stronger nukes, and more nukes. Also, fire AoE is better in some ways, worse in some ways too

Fire stronger imbue + fire stronger nukes very likely make up for the loss in mag %. This has already been said several times. :)

Yeah it is my personal opinion. Which is why I said "I'd personally stick with light."
On the sentence, "Light helps int builds a lot more then fire does." it didn't seem like it was your opinion, it seemed like it was a fact you said. Sorry if I misunderstood it.

Light gives you speed, phantom, lion shout, better mag damage, better parry ratio, and some good AoE nukes which are wonderful while grinding.
First of all, parry ratio isn't even to be considered, it changes basically nothing in any fight situation. Then, lightning nukes are not nearly as effective as fire nukes, fire nukes are stronger, have AoE too, and fire has a wider variety of strong nukes to choose from. Fire nukes > lightning nukes. Lightning gives in fact speed, mobility and lion shout (which are all in their own ways somewhat invaluable). Fire offers stronger nukes, stronger imbue, magical defense, fire wall, easier immunity and deastealth/deinvisible. I've fought this fight between firexlightning several times already, and I'm sure that there's not a best one, it depends on utterly personal preference.

Also, the the imbue difference really isn't that much. At the 100 cap Lights imbue is this: 723~1344 and Fires imbue is this: 912~1520
That "small" difference turns out to be way more than you think as we are talking about a INT build.

:P

umm and fire nuke is 330% which is much higher than light nukes even with magical % increase buff

changing from light to fire your only missing phantom thats about it fire gives you MUCH stronger nukes, immunity, high(er) magical defence, firewall for bladers mostly

Which, to be honest, is wat u do a lot in pvp. IMO, ghost walk is better for group pvp, and while it can be used in emergencies in 1vs1, u won't be very popular if u hit and run. U also have ur kds, ironwall to help u, and sometimes the help of impotent too. Whether it's deserved or not, ppl tend to think ur a coward if u ghost walk/teleport or even run away or to safe zone. At the very least, u stop attacking and let urself die, then get back up 5 mins later and say u had to go afk urgently :D

Fire>Light Imo.
Speed can be bought, for extra parry use dodging scrolls.
Mag attack is enough if u take light 40 f.e.
100 fire 100 bicheon/heuskal 60cold 40 light is the best for me.
Im dlving now cold and light for my spear nuker :)

If ur pure int, maybe thts not the best idea. 40% snow shield is decent enuf but it'll give those warriors/rogues..etc a slight edge on u. But tell how it works out.

EDIT

I don't feel like to farm any more because my light is 76 and plus all of the skill total i have to farm about 2260 curst of heart and it take a hell of time to do it all so im staying with light
