Hat question

I have seen one sort of hat on all kinds of chars, this one is on a 2hand sword warrior.

Do you know what kind of hut is it? Is it a hut, or could it be some avatar?

I've got once as a wizzard a similarly strange hat, it was just a normal drop. If it is a normal drop why would for example a 2 hand sword warrior have a wizzard hat?

the wizard hat and outfit was a holloween event item drop
no longer available, non tradeable, avatar equipment
