I know for a pure STR that bicheon/fire/force is a very good build.
I also know a 3:1 hybrid with bicheon/light/fire that is very good as well.

Cold imbue; as it's damage won't be so different from fire, knowing you are a Pure STR, and it'll make you able to easily freeze and frostbite things, and this will help a lot, including in pvp against non-immune people.

If u can get both, tht'll be good. Cold imbue has limited use in pvp becuz of the immunity but it rocks against anyone who isn't immune. I'd probably go cold imbue if u only got to choose one. the damage between my soul fire force and my lvl1 ice imbue is ridiculously low. I'm full str tho lol

ice if you before you're farmed, both when you're done
ice for people who aren't immune and cause it looks cooler, and good for pve, you absolutely won't die grinding
fire for a little extra damage when fighting some one who isn't immune
but as the cap raises higher and higher imbue damage for a pure str will become more and more negligible between them

Agreed. Str chars damage from their imbues isn't that great anyways. Might as well go with the imbue that gives you the best effects. *cold*

CHIPS wrote: Fire for damage. Ice for freezing. It depends on what you want really. If you want to focus on knock down I would suggest fire more. If you like the chains then ice is better. I disagree with that only because we're talking about pure STRs. The damage difference from fire imbue to cold imbue regarding a pure STR build is pretty much none, as it has already been stated.

Tho yes, the damage difference is really small.

Bobby wrote: Cold imbue is kinda annoying to use if ur kding alot. does the "cannot stab after KD+freeze status" bug or any cold effects related bug after KD still exist? if there's still a bug relating to cold effects after KD, then i'd think it's only natural to max fire imbue and level up ice imbue as much as u can afford. if not, ice imbue would have been better.
