Im lvlel 24 currently pure STR being powerfarmed at ongs. i was thinking about going hyvrid STR keeping a 85-90% phy blanace on my Fire Force Blader.... i will farm 1m sp at ongs then level up with a 0 gap and an SP ticket to 90 so i cna be FF by level 100.
what do you think of this?

I'd say you may regret not going full str. Since you'll have no ice or light you'll take more damage. Also if you farm 1 mill sp you won't need an sp ticket. You automatically with get 200k+sp from lvling 0-90 even if you have a 0 gap. So in total that'd be 1,200,000 mill sp.

One of the force debuffs gives the status weaken, which, as a pure STR, you won't be really taking full advantage of, because it reduces your enemies mag def. Light will not really change the damage you take though, only ice would. He could simply go with protector to make up for the phy def, though I'm not sure how he'd end up regarding his defense. Probably the best way of going would really be pure str taking into account mainly the defense, because you'd only lack mag def which you could get simply by going with fire and wearing garment. But then, there's the force debuff impotent, which would greatly reduce the damage your enemies would deal, making worrying about defense for this build even less important. Oh, in addition he'd be wearing a shield. Also if you farm 1 mill sp you won't need an sp ticket. You automatically with get 200k+sp from lvling 0-90 even if you have a 0 gap. So in total that'd be 1,200,000 mill sp. If I recall it correctly this build needs something between to 1,6-1,8mill SP at 100 cap. In the end, the decision would rely solely on what he prefers. If he prefers some more damage, then he should go for hybrid. If he prefers more survivability then his choice should be pure str.

umh, if you're willing to spend money on an SPT then USE it as ur getting farmed, this will cut your farm time by more than half. it'll go soooo quick. my friend and brother both farmed 1 mil sp in a month, with the use of an SPT.

i've seen quite a few hybrids str based, and they do it pretty well. you will hit a bit harder u wont loose too much defense if u go only 90% phy bal, but at the very end u will need to start reading some alchemy guides because u MUST have 100% phy.bal at least. (everyone does anyway)
still, i'd go pure.
now its your choice.

Light does have the parry ratio however. And that does effect how much damage he will take. Even though it will be rather minor.

Going hybrid str is a big waste when most ppl nowadays are INT in garment. Considering their huge magical defense, your stat put to INT is not enough to be effective. Trust me, i play this game for ages and I know what im talking about.

if its only 3 points, you don't have worry about it. You'll have like 200 less health at cap but that doesn't really matter

I'd still recommend you to go hybrid, they do extremely well in PvE, and in my eyes PvE is much more important that PvP. But still, it's your choice. Personally I've made a few str hybrids and they've all done very well.
