Old computer died on me and instead of fixing it I think its time for an upgrade. New computer will be a intel i7 build with dual gtx 260 cards in sli mode. Just wanted to see if anyone else is playing this game with SLI cards and if you are having any problems.
Before you say its overkill for this game I already know that, this isn't the only game I play.
The game will surely run smooth, but this game don't have a SLI support for extra's
I know that but what i'm trying to say is anyone playing with sli still enabled? I could disable 1 card and still run the game at the max. Would be nice to keep it enabled to avoid turning off one everytime I play sro.

like i said silkroad is not SLI supported, so with SLI enabled or not it runs the same. Check your sli settings you can manage it there.
It ran fine for me, however I usually don't use my second card because I have two monitors. I can't remember if I had to fiddle with SLI settings though.

how many fps will you have in the middle of hotan with MAXED settings? (crowded server) ive got a max of 10fps in hotan^^ but my card is old (7600GT)
thats odd i got over 60 fps in hotan with max graphics using a 6800gt in my old rig. And that was with AA enabled.
i cant even play with high settings since euro is out (i had an average of 50 fps before euro with high settings)... maybe because of my 1GB ram? do i need to get more in order to play with higher settings?

Can't vista only recognize/use like 3 or 4 gig? >.<
yeah, the 32bit version of vista... but im sure the 64bit can use 8GB (maybe more)
Vista ultimate can use up to 24 gigs of ram, which is overkill unless your running a server. 6 gigs of ddr3 and 1.7 gigs of video ram between 2 gtx 260's should be more than enough for me . Will be running on a 24 inch 1080p monitor. I'll take hi res pics with max AA and AF when my build is complete.

whut??? Fraps has nothing to do with the game, its only disables the Sli for fraps Fraps sli "enabled" has no effect on your graphic card SLI settings
