I started playing SRO again and made a full str rogue/cleric cause it seemed fun and a change from chinese chars. I'm level 28 but it sucks that i get killed by a demon horse party or giant. I also like the thought of having a pure int sword/shield nuker with 90 bicheon, ice, light and 30 fire. Now, i don't know if i should make a new character or not. All opinions are welcome. Thanks for all answers.

may i ask what wepon was you using to get pwnd by a demon horse ?

xbow, but i'm planing to get daggers as well. i'm using small pots and have about 1000HP with crossbow extreme if that helps.

umm i would think you would kill the mob before it would get to you i think your somthing rong here but i cant think......

i didn't say i couldn't kill a normal demon horse. I said a demon horse PARTY would kill me!!!

for that you need to find a good euro party with cleric and so on

Dont Use Xbow extreme when your fighting pt mobs or giants.

The real question is do you want to farm or not?

s/s in snow shield > rogue

It's up to you. The s/s full INT 90bich/90ice/90light would be a more effective tanker than a rogue, while still dealing good damage. The rogue is almost, in my opinion, only a damage dealer, it's kind of hard for it to tank, unless you are without CE or DD, but then you'd lose a lot of damage. I wouldn't recommend cleric subclass for a rogue anyway. I'd say you should either go warlock or a bard, but that's my opinion. If you like crossbow, daggers and things like that then go rogue/cleric, if you prefer magic, sword and shield then go full int s/s, it's up to what you like.


No, euros actually can solo parties/giants/party giants/party champs/etc. on their own, they just need to have a good char and know how to use it.

well my friend is a spear int and i to play instead of him (soooooo much fun). i also had a blader before... on the other hand, my guild mate ( who is a lvl 50 rogue) told me that playing rogue gets better after lvl 32, and that i'll be able to fight party's and giants my level. is it true?

I have no idea why he said 32. You should be able to kill any party or giant your level or higher since like lvl 16 or so depending on your class/subclass. A rogue only (with no subclass) will have trouble killing party or giant monsters at almost any level as far as I know, just like a wizard (with no subclass).

it helps if you have more skills :S lv 26 you have only 2 attack skills

anyways in later lvls 60+ I could tank same lvl pt mobs with xbow extreme on using vigors, and tank pt mobs 10 lvl higher with extreme off

Both are good; Both do fine; that depends on what fun is to you. You choose the one which you prefer. Watch some videos, read guides, etc.. and decide which one is the most fun for you. What people will tell here will be their opinion, but you have to do the build which you like, not the one we tell you to do. Don't worry about making mistakes, as you'll learn through them.

well what i'm gonna list some pros and cons of both, just to have it written down lolz

S/S
+ No pot delay
+ Love the bicheon skillz and nukes
+ block!!!
+ love to combo nukes with chains
+ can tank a bigger mob with castle shield and snow shield
- maybe a little less damage
- less hp (cause its int)

Rogue/Cleric
+ awesome damage
+ recovery division replaces pots (to some extent)
+ use less money on pots
+ bless spell
+ maybe less of em running around ( )
- pot delay
- to get the BIG damage u gotta sacrifice defence and hp
- slow if u don't want to buy drugs
- get killed by a party mob 2 lvls lower

the decision is killing me... i gotta call my friend to help me decide.

You won't get killed as a rogue after lv50, when you get your knockdown & you have got 2 knockback skills.
