Mining, seems like I was doing it wrong. I never knew you get points from mining minerals too!

I've actually gotten my mining up from 0 to 450 within the last couple of days, and I used exactly the same guide as posted above.

Until I started to wonder why I didn't get many nodes :(

Get yourself GatherMate, install, and then get GatherMate_Data, and then go ingame, open em both from addons list, and then ingame type /gathermate and do Import (instructions there)

You will now see ALL the nodes, every single one. This worked like a charm for me. Do NOT stay near the edges of your current place landscape, This is what every1 does, but get the mines in the middle and center of every area. I did this and noticed an insane difference.

Anyway, you can start mining cobalt in Howling Fjord/ Borean Tundra, at lvl 350 mining :)

Got my Jc up aswell, got quite for with just the ores I got from lvling mining up. Some will cost you quite a fair bit of cash tho since u gotta buy some stuff from the AH :>

Bloody hell, is this legal?

Of course it is.
I use Gatherer myself. It doesn't have the wotlk info yet so if GatherMate has it I'd get that one.
I don't think it matters which one you get tbh.

Oh yeah WoutR, you were talking about pickup groups earlier. I really suggest you doing Oculus heroic on a pickup group.

By the way, thanks for the advice Twysta and Wong.

So i finally had time to play yesterday.

Dinged 74, got some sweet instance quest upgrades from Old Kingdom, and Azjol Nerub, which were both fun instances tbh. Ofc I was doing it with people i know are able to do these things.

2100G now, I need to get 6800 at 77 :( For epic flying skill, cold weather and the DK gryphon.

While still on the subject of moneymaking I really can advise using the auction house.

I just downloaded auctioneer, scanned the auction house each day for a week and then bought level 77-80 blue BOE's which were listed for 20-40% of the going rate and resold them.
I made 600g profit yesterday.

I always thought using these mods was super hard and I'd make mistakes but it's really not that hard.
However, don't buy something after your first scan even if it seems a super bargain. I made 100g loss on my first item just because I didn't have the proper information. (There were only 2 items up: one crazily overpriced and one still overpriced but in comparison a bargain. Auctioneer had only seen these two and listed the smaller overpriced one as a great deal so I went for it. Big fail)
So get reliable information first before you make your sells.

Btw, I can also recommend making Skyflare Diamonds even if you don't have Herbalism or whatever it is it requires.
You buy the items (Bloodstone x1, Chalcedony x1 and Eternal Air x1) and let some guy transmute it for, say, 10-20g.
Then you have a JC cut it for you and it's somewhere between 50-100g profit. (At least on my server)

/sigh

I dont like only being a casual player sometimes. There used to be this mage me and a few other people helped alot. We basically dragged her through heroics so she could get better gear and get better at the game. She wasnt that good and was always messing up and dying at first. Dont get me wrong, we liked her, she was fun and we all got along but she wasnt that great at playing to begin with.

Now shes always in top raid guilds, cleared all the TBC raid content and most of the WotLK content and im still running about in heroics because i can hardly ever play for long enough in one go to be able to do anything more :|

She was one of the first people i saw with the amani war bear way back when :\

a question for the dutchies: If I have an account that's listed as a Dutch account can I use iDeal for character transfers?
I have a UK account because my friend made the account for me for the free 30 days.
I'm trying to change it.

I always selected direct debet, and it went through to my bank.

Been busy the whole week, finally got some time for WoW now that I handed in two assignments which are due today. Gonna grind on Heroics now, to get a twink weapon with badges lol. Then I'll make a new Warrior, just Fury one this time. Still having a hard time getting Essence of Gossamer from Heroic Azjol-Nerub.

Nice drake by the way, GT.

12 more badges away, probably will get it later tonight. Yeah, I love Warriors, been tempted to respec after reading on some Arms talents while I get bored from flying. Other than that, I really need to raise my Mining and Blacksmith as soon as possible to do some permanent enhancement on my gears.

By the way, joined a great raid group, whooped all 4 Horde bosses in 2 hours or so.

Spoiler!

I was in Thunder Bluff once when some Alliance people killed the Bloodhoof guy, nobody cared really and just kept on going about their business.

ugh, so today is like my worst wow day ever.

1. we tried malygos, got to phase 2 and got pwned. tried it a couple more times before we called it quits. our timings were all off, bad group play, hardly any good spark stacks. wasn't our day. trying again tmr.

2. immediately after, i got into this terribab heroic daily group. wiped 3 times GOING UP TO THE FIRST BOSS, WTFFF.

total repair bill for the day: 98 gold.

That will change again once everyone is settled in and 80 for a while.

Dinged 75 yesterday. Rushed it a bit, since i'm rested. Rested till 76 to btw.

Gonna do the new ring of blood tonight, and then finish up in Dragonblight.

There are 3 new ring of blood style events. Well, 3 that i can remember: one in grizzly hills, one in zuldrak and one in icecrown

EDIT: ah, the grizzly hills one is horde only but i would assume the alliance has an equivilant one somewhere

Ahrg, wow has really gone down the toilet now PvP wise.

I'll see what happens when resilience comes, but I'm not hopeful.
Season 1 is going to be a combination of boomkins, rogues, palas and mages.
I play a Rogue myself so it wouldn't be too bad if the entire arena wasn't about who finds who sooner.
If you play a setup with a druid or rogue, which ever team finds the druid or rogue sooner wins because you won't live longer than the cheap shot, maybe the kidney shot if you're lucky.

How could they have let this happen after the good arenapvp there was in TBC.
