Ok guys, I'm going to start a new warlock build character. I just have some questions about it.
Which warklock skills do I need? I'm thinking about getting all the skills, but I haven't read over all of the skills yet.
Do you really need a sub-mastery for a warlock? Farming all the SP for the whole warlock tree is already a lotta SP.
Which server should I play on? I'm thinking about starting it on the new server coming out (Pheonix). EDIT: I'm playing on Pacific server now.

if ur gonna be working so hard to get warlock skills you might as well get something else to back it up
cleric - defense and healing spells that'll help defend u against any mob/player.. but a lot of sp
bard - mp heals, speed, and anti-aggro and a lot less sp

Maxing the whole warlcok tree and the skills shown in the cleric tree in the Warlock/Cleric guide you will need 948,242 SP.

You dont need all skills...
The skills on the Warlock Guide are those you MUST have... other you can leave!
See.. once you have disease and bleed curses, you dont use the fire one anymore, cause it takes a lot time to cast... so de-level it (3 lvls probably). Dont need the "blind" spell... ´cause it only works on players, and it sux.
As Cleric, you dont need the basic healing spell ... i use only the healing cycle (16s of healing) and the group healing for parties. And after lvl40, with recovery division, you will barely care about healing.
I dont use Cross spell from cleric.. it really useless .. i just use Over Healing to do some damage... the main build is Locke not Cleric. So the bind spell... useless to this build.
If you wear robe, (as i do) dont bother with the light armor skills from cleric.
And Int/Str Buffs ... its up to you... they go away when you change weapons.. so leave to put SP points on it later... (so you can be the cleric of the party sometimes, or to help your friends when they plvl you) But the Bless spell´s (to raise int and str def), they stay on others after changing weapons, so, those you must have.

I've taken some cleric skills out so now I'm down to 877,029 SP required. But I've still got the whole warlock tree maxed out.

Ok, I've started on my warlock on the Pacific server. I'm level 7 at the moment and my warlock mastery is level 4. I've got all the level 4 skills now: blzae, blood flower, vampire touch and their passives. I'm not going to level cleric mastery yet. Just a few more questions.
When should I start SP farming? Gap is 3 now. When I reach level 8 I'll make warlock mastery 8 as well.

U don't need the whole warlock tree. Don't get migrane, phantasm, fog sight, curse sight, and physical ravange.

Cleric? Bard? So hard to choose. If someone was going warlock as main mastery and cleric or bard as sub-mastery when would you add the sub mastery? Because I'm just levelling warlock at the moment. Not worrying about sub-clas yet because there aren't many parties around in the start zone of Europe. I'm thinking about adding sub-mastery at around level 30+. Bard - has better buffs? more for MP? Cleric - healing? more for HP? EDIT: After reading some other threads, I'm leaning towards Bard as the sub-class. Wayless SP needed = wayless SP farming = faster levelling! Here's the next problem. Which bard skills do I need?

Well this is what I'm planning at the moment with warlock/bard build.
Warlock - Lv90 (I think that is the highest level) Mind Control - MAXED Dark Mentalist - MAXED Raze - MAXED except for Physical Raze and Physical Ravage Bloody Swarm - MAXED Blood - MAXED Soul Pressure - MAXED except for Fog Sight and Curse Sight Evil Swell - MAXED Cruel Spell - MAXED Dim Haze - MAXED (Do I need Mirage and Phantasma?)
Bard - Lv90 (I think that is the highest level) Bard's Dream - MAXED Battle Chord - MAXED except for Mana Switch Music Pleasure - MAXED Melody - only Cure Music MAXED Sound - MAXED except for Mana Wind and Discord Wave, don't know about Mana Breeze Beautiful Life - MAXED Dancing Concert - MAXED
All that adds up to 923,172 SP needed. Please post your suggestions or if I need to add for take away any skills.

^Alright, your build needs ~ 70k less SP than mine, and mine is much better in PvP, and PvE aswell (for partying) in my opinion....

Your build is better than mine at PvP and PvE because you can heal yourself? But wouldn't warlock/bard and warlock/cleric be both good in party because bard has cool buffs and MP recovery and cleric has cool buffs too and HP recovery. In PvE I think both builds would be pretty even because bard has good buffs and other skills while cleric can heal and has buffs as well. That's the way I'm seeing this.

Well, in Pvp (cape fights) I cannot imagine european without Cleric subclass, about Jobwars/Guild Wars/Fortress Wars ... I just find Warlock/Cleric more useful, is it because of weapon swtitching and blessing, or ressing ... Idk i just feel that Warlock/Cleric is better than Bard, you can switch to Cleric anytime you want, you can wear Light Armor ... Warlock/Bard just doesnt feel right.

I see where you're coming from now. Switching light armour to robes and back again will be a bit annoying and you'll waste money buying the extra set of armour. But I think I'll stay with bard.

Get warlock mastery to 8 as fast as possible, then 9 gap for a while. Warlock mastery to 8 because level 4 skills are to weak.

You'll quit it if you do 9 gap at begining .... Play it a bit, see how you like it, then farm at 42 , 52, 64 ... When you know you'll be staying with that build.
