Hi,
I'am planning to make an ice bower.
Is this a good build @ PvE?
And @ higher level PvP?

Pacheon - 90
Ice - 90

Or does a bower has must have skills from fire and lighting?

You would want to take advantage of another mastery since you can max 1 more. Lightning gives you extra magic damage (your imbue if you are not a nuker even), Speed, Phantom walk, Parry ratio. Fire gives more physical damage from your bow attacks, status reduce, magic defense.

Depends what build you do (STR/INT) possibly for what would be better for you. You can buy Speed pills i suppose if you don't want lightning, not that i would recommend it.

Ice Bowers are very good for PvE, you can hit from far away and slow the monsters down before they reach you.

PvP they can be good also.

Ice bow is awesome for PvE. For PvP at higher lvls a lot of people are immune to Ice's effects such as frostbite and freeze.

Now I've got some questions/suggestions for you 8)

1. Are you going to be pure str or hybrid *if your going hybrid what will be your % ratios for Phy and Mag?*
2. What gear do you plan on wearing? *Armor, Protector or Garment*
3. IMHO you defiantly need light somewhat grinding/pvping is a pain without grasswalk. If you don't want to sp farm a bunch then just up light to lvl 30 or something.

Ice is only good for PvE as a bowman. Period.

Very true, at a higher level everyone is immune to ice anyway, and if they aint ... well they noobs and shoul'nd be hard to kill >.< (unless its a euro without cleric subclass^^)

Str or Int?

I'm assuming str or hybrid.. Nobody goes int bow really..
If I'm assuming correctly then Get fire for str.. Str
builds should have fire! for buffs and what not. They
will help alot. So if your str i'd go:

90 Pach
90 Ice
90 Fire
30 Light

or sacrifice a few fire levels for some light ones so
you go phantom and decent grasswalk.. It will be good
for PvE, depending on weather the person your pvping has
ice imune/euro buffs or not will decide weather your
likely or unlikely to win. If they do then you would be
much better off with fire imbue, if not then you have
a huge advantage..

On 100 cap many ppl wont be immune any longer. Most nukers will have 100bicheon/100ice/100light which makes them not immune to anything. I think its a fun build to play on 100 cap.. For 90 cap its not worth it yet imo.

making a ice bower right now my planed masteries are

90 pach/ice
50 light so i can get a good grass walk and ghost walk
70 fire so i can still get the extra physical dmg and magic defense

but a mate of mine is doing something odd

90 pach/ice/force 30 light , though with that he could make use of a higher lvl snow sheild and have extra mp to back it up, as well as the debuffs, but i bet ints will own him

edit omg this kick ass only lvl 31 but i got 34 ticket in one ctf, and died twice only, i killed bladers, i killed glaive, i killed cleric, wiz and rogue (no warriors were there but if i could take on the blader i'm sure they'd go down too) as soon as i got strong bow i decimated that ctf
