Hi all, srry if this topic is being repeated yet again, but i juz couldnt reach a conclusion from reading the other threads regarding this topic.

PVP:
I observed that most glaviers in the youtube videos has this so called "standard" pvp skills (Soul -> Ghost -> Soul -> Ghost -> etc..). Isit really the most effective combo?

I was juz wondering with all the updates like SRO pk2 or whatever its called, wats the common combo of skills does most glaviers use in pvp now? Or isit still the same as back then?

PVM:
On the other hand, i noticed that most glaviers use the chain spear skill when they're grinding/hunting. So what do u guys think about that? Cause i feel that i would rather stick to ghost and soul spear series which are known to have higher dmg and spamming them repeatedly instead, since both of them used together wont have any delays.

Thanks in advance!

In PvP: Soul -> Ghost -> Soul -> Ghost is UTTER BULLSHIT, COMPLETE INEFFECTIVENESS!!!!!!!!!!!

SS-Emperor -> SS-Soul -> Windless. Repeat until you have grinded down your opponent to a point where StormCloud (Ghost spear) kills him. By doing soul-ghost, you don't maintain constant Damage per second. After your ghost spear, your opponent has plenty of time to pot, whereas if you grind his HP down constantly with 2-hit skills, he won't be potting up a lot at a time.

These skills will do you just fine in PvE as well. Kill mobs with Flying Dragon -> Soul -> Ghost, or, if you want, you can lure lots of mobs with flying dragon, light nuke, and maybe lion shout, and then finishing them off with windless and ghost, like in this video:

PVP agree with above, for the most part.
For this to be effective, you need to know how much damage you are dealing, and how much HP your opponent has.
Full ints have about 10k hp if spear than 12k.
Full str have about 30k hp, hybrids will range inbetween.
1:7 is about 12k hp if spear than 14k.
1:5 have about 13k hp if spear have 15k hp

Count your damage and know how much your ghost spear can do. When it adds up, deal the final blow.

Chain spear skills are used because they deal more damage than Soulspear OR Ghost spear alone. Its also used because it saves you twice as much mana. Use chainspear if it can kill a mob in one hit and when a soulspear cant.

not all Glaivers have nukes at their disposal. to mass kill, run around a bunch of circles to gather mobs, and use ghost spear and another ghost spear repeatedly. Using flying dragon to lure is utterly slow. The guy in that video needs to finish the mobs he has before luring more. He is being attacked by 5+ mobs and still luring more, when ghost spear can only hit 5 simultaneously. Wasting HP pots.
