If you think to use only Rogue to Pvp and kill somebody , it rarely happens . YOu have to choose 1 of them :
1. Continue to increase Warlock skill ( required to farm ) . It doesn't suck as you think .
2. Decrease Warlock mastery now and start new sub . Don't leave it at 40 . You will get bored very soon.

In my opinon, Rouge is a stealth build, and you cant be a stealthed Warlock, so having it as a sub is a bad idea.

But hey, its your build, to either ruin or become great.

Good luck with it.

im 64lvl rogue/warlock. At pvp i usually start vampire touch->stun->hidden(skull thingy which u get at 44lvl)->sleep and debuffs.
With hidden and sleep u can hit your enemy as long as hidden explodes.
I can own every build pretty easily except warrior/clerics because they have good phy def and holy word.

IMO this build gets boring fast coz i kill my own lvl enemys with few hits and die to higher lvl players faster. And usually every turk start to whine about my debuffs >:(

edit: no, warlock isn't bad sub. I hate rogues which runs to safe zone put stealth and kill someone without warning.

Nope. Deleveling from 40 is nothing. I had cleric lvl 60,delevel to 0,then I had warlock 60, delevel to 0, then I had bard 70, delevel to 0, now again farming cleric :D. I didnt listen much what others say and wanted to try all subclasses on my own.
If yuo go warlock, be prepared to SP farm alot, if your debufs arent same lvl as you, you suck.
Bard, is useless in pvp, nuff said.
Cleric is best, very good in PvP and in party also.

Not at all bro. Look my cleric isnt FF now very low lvl farming atm and its hard in pvp for me. For example Im using +7 xbow and +7 daggers and my other friend rogue +7xbow and +5 daggers and we pvp my guildmate force glavier, for me its almost imposible to kill him, but my friend rogue with FF cleric own him almost evry time.
Cleric is very helpfull in pvp, just takes a bit practice in switching weapons and healing skills, but its not that hard.

Making a 1 on 1 pvp build is pointless since, when a new cap comes, it will more than likely be outdated and replaced. Be smart and delevel warlock and get cleric or bard as your sub. Not only will you lessen the amount of sp you need but you gain either speed or survivability. I personally would go for bard since it will speed up grinding and lessen the amount of damage you will receive in agro areas.

Adding warlock just for pvp is for flash and cool kids who think it's "hip" to add skills that you do not NEED.

Get what you need, not want.

A little off topic here, but honestly... Are you insane in the mind?

What people seem to forget is, Euros are made for party play. And that means party grinding and party pvping.

Bard is possibly the best pvp character. It has strong attacks at higher leveles, has buffs that mean you never need MP pots, reduces the damage taken, and if you have more than one, increase the damage given.

Please dont talk badly about Bards when you obviously have no clue how to play or pvp one, and im very much doubting you know how to pvp as a euro correctly either.

Euros will always need a good party backing them, whatever they are doing. People need to relise this and stop complaining about buffs ect - Thats what euros are made for; Party play.

I see a Warlock/Rogue at Venice server and it kicks ass.

http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=58561

this char can kill any warrior with holy spell and bless. it hit them so hard that sometimes the damage return kill the char itself from warrior 2h skill. LOL.

for example a warrior with bless, one hit prick is 14k dmage crit is 28k. warrior only have 27k to 27.7k hp only. so the damage return is 80 or 90 % that should be like 26k damage return and with some damage from warrior the rogue hp is 25k that means died by damage return.

ALso it kills FF 90 chinese INT with 55% Snow on like nothing and str with 50% snow too.

is not like this char never lose, no build is a perfect build but for sure this char will win more than lose.

Warlock is a great sub. The only downside is the amount of sp required for it. If you dont want to farm I say drop the char and reroll or use curst hearts/skill potions to sub to something else. I have a feeling you just dont know how to fully play the build. I suggest lookin at some guides maybe you'll see what your doing wrong 8)

Warlock/Rogue is a very powerful build, for sure you can own any Chinese character that don't have force skill, Chinese with force it depends on how good you play, its a 70 win to 30 lose chance against Chinese force. you'll have a little trouble around str or int cleric, but if you know how to play you can own em time to time. you don't need sun to own. if you know how to play you'll own. same goes to every build. but i was just saying that warlock/rogue is good because it can take alot of damage and dealt alot of damage. compare to INT warlock. low hp and cannot take lots of damage. any sub build is a very good build just don't go bard, i think that bard don't have any skills to support a str character due to pot delay. bard only have speed! but than again i just shouting out ideas. it is your idea to pick what your build is :D

Agree with chesticles great amount SP is required for warlock subclas. And about playing, practice makes it perfect. Just do a lot pvp and you will get isnt that hard. But just dont let discourage you when you face pure STR with cleric subclass its a bit hard.

Just remember in pvp that you MUST use vampire touch to get disease before you start to debuff, I normaly use touch, stun, divison, decay, impotent, panic, sleep and then DD, scud and BANG sexy ass crit :P you could also trap/sleep them and use the dull dot for added dmg and to slow them down, dull should also give the 50% dmg increase for mortal wounds :)

Rouge/warlock isn't too great IMO.

Rouge Cleric can tank long enough to kill almost anything with bless, and if you use crossbow KD/KB a lot you can probably even use healing orbit if your good at weapon switching.

My complaint about being a rouge has never been that I don't do the damage. Its that I die too often.

Warlock adds more damage, cleric adds more tanking, Bard adds more speed.

Whats more important to you? :)

Add Bleed + Dull DoT's
Dont add magic attacks from warlock
but add the hp leech. They are absolute damage and it doesnt matter if you are either INT or STR
