If you're like me, into good designs, hell even into good signature designs, but not ALL the time, then the AC sucks, basically.
There's so much more to design then only signatures, and i'm sure theres people in here working on more then just that.
I, for one, Like discussing several aspects of good Multimedia design.
I'm doing something similar for the company i'm working for. And stumpled upon two statements, where i'd like to hear some input on.
1) When targetting B2B (Business to business) markets, what function does 'Form' have in your design. Should you still be aiming at highly graphical websites, assuming you'll have to push visitors in your direction. Or should you tone it down a bit, known as Undesign, whereas you're assuming visitors will come to you (as often happens in B2B), and rely more on function then form. People seem to be immune to graphical elements these days, just think of 'Banner blindness'.
2) Is there any design for Emotion involved when it comes to B2B websites. If so, how would you incorporate that into the website.
Other then these examples, i'm sure there are things people would like to discuss, do so, it makes the AC much more interesting.

with b2b you mean like distributors?
because afaik, most "fancy" websites with a lot of form and flash banners etc. are more aimed at consumers not businesses.
i must say that it does depend on the company. for example, in the gaming industry you see a lot of flashy websites, they need to breathe "design" so to speak. it's all about looking totally up to date for some reason. when you look at real industrial companies and markets, you will se there is a lot less form and fanciness and a lot more functionality. whereas design companies have to put some design elements into it.
so IMO, both answers depend on the type of company the website is for. i'm sure i could type up some better examples here, but i'm at work and about to have a chat with the boss about my project.

Business to Business simply means, A company, creating and selling products/services to another company. Instead of to consumers.

Yes, i'm only talking about B2B, the company i'm working for rarely ever accepts private clients. It's always businesses.

I can give you my rather uninformed opinion based on my own personal preferences and anecdotal evidence, but my career is very far from anything design or art related. I'm learning to use photoshop because it's fun, I have always liked art, but have been prohibited by costs associated with any sort of serious hobby. I make sigs because I know people here, it' the format almost everyone uses. I'm just looking for honest, critical feedback, inspiration and examples that I can emulate until I pick up enough skill to venture out on my own.
I'd be happy to join in discussions, but I don't know how much help I would be for you. Like I said, this isn't my career so I can only give you very uninformed opinions. That said, I not entirely sure I know what this conversation is about, sadly. But I can tell you the one thing I LOVE about some websites - being able to find what I need quickly. The beauty and design of a site is less important for me if I can't find what I'm looking for. I think this applies here. If the customer of the website is another business, functionality should definitely take precedence. The last thing you want to do is annoy some poor invoice jockey who's only purpose is to order things from said website.

1) Less is more. 2) Setting the mood for the website, its sort of like painting a room for a certain feel like really solid colours (red, blue, green, etc. etc.) for a bold feel. IMO try using soft gradients or something
