If he only has 1800 marble in his warehouse, forget about it. If he has more, than I say go for it. You forget that if you win the battle, you kill his troops, and you can keep on and keep on pillaging the guy. :)

I did and now his whole alliance(Which happens to be they just joined recently and on the same island) keep attacking me. Nothing to rob, but 4k gold from each pillage.

Somethings with my ships. I can't send 1200 units of wine to my main city. It says "The trade fleet doesn´t have any freight " but I still have 20 ships free.

He stopped after I told him(the one that attacked 8 times) that he was bashing. Now he's backing off. I found it lulz.

I did report him. I think I'm ganna abandon colonies once I reach max resources and move to the SRFI island. Since I am a day away XD I think later this week I'll get there.

You know how when you go to Island view, the higher the level of your City Hall, the bigger / more different it looks?

16 is one expansion and 18 is the final expansion for the looks.
I'm at 17 and four hours away from 18. I'll post a picture when it's done.
