Um... those facilities that research to find cures for cancers are not just cancer research facilities. Even if they devoted 100% of their time to cancer research now, if they find a cure for it, they'll just find another disease to research. If all known diseases are cured, new diseases will be identified and the search for a cure will continue.

Your concerning you self too much on the cancer issue, i didn't mean literally, but who knows. What i was saying is that JoyMax has this cancer(Bots) and They can't afford a cure. If they were able to ban bots for good, a good portion of the SRO community would quit. That would than return to lose is sales, which i don't think Jm would recover from. All they can do is ban bots once and awhile, so i don't think JM will ever been completely bot free

It might not be as bad as you'd think. A large portion of the SRO community does bot (not sure how much) and if they are all banned, that would be a good chunck of change that Joymax would lose. However, how many of those bots buy silk? How many silk-buying bots buy a LOT of silk, as opposed to just enough to 'get by'?

It almost seems reasonable to say that if Joymax bans all bots for good, that would make the remainder of legit players quite happy. Old legit members, who have quit for various reasons, may come back to this bot-free game. Happy players tend to throw their money at the game company. If all the legits are happy, and old legits come back and are happy in a bot-free game, they are more willing to spend more (maybe a lot more) money on silk.

I guess from a business standpoint, it's a risk in the short term. Joymax would lose money in the short term, but they would be opening the door to potentially a lot more silk sales to (now happy) legits, and making it easier for new players to join the game and begin spending money on it.

I think it would at least even out, if not be even better after the perma-bans.

this is just random but i notice when looking at ss gallery that keny_paintball is _SomeOne_ because they are both SomeOne(sro name) from the ss they posts and both of his accounts are banned for botting, hope no1 makes a mistake and lets him in here a 3rd time.
