so i was trying to think of a build that wasnt the usual 90 weapon, ice, and light for a nuker.

so i decided that i would make a nuker who was 90 spear/fire and 90 ice and 30 light.

i wanted to make a unique build that did good damage but wouldnt die to easy. at first i though 90 spear/fire and 60 ice/light , but that would get to complicated at higher lvls. so i decided that 90 spear/fire/ice and 30 light would be better. with 30 light u still get some decent speed, and the differnce in mag damage is only 11% and you still get +17 parry ratio. if you need more speed u can just buy the typhoon drug(or whatever their called) they only like 90k. with fire and cold maxed u get very powerful nukes and u still got amazing defence.

so i just thought id share my unique build. dunno if any1 else ever thught of this build. let me know what u think

You know that 11% on lvl 90 a few k is in dmg?

I'd go with 60/60 then...

ya light is second strongest nuke and has your lion shouts and mag dmg boost. to drop that is like a pure str without fire...

ever heard of ice bladers or ice bowers?

yes i have in fact i was fun previosuly. however have you ever noticed how theres basically none left? this was back in the 60/70 cap before the fire shield with acc blues bug. 60 wep 60 ice 60 fire 60 light or 70 wep 70 fire 70 ice 70 light. so yes they still had fire as pure str chars. you dont only get it for the imbue but for the buffs it gives you. which is why im saying having 30 light is a bad idea. personally id use ice imbue for nuker not light. but you get light for the buffs.

you wanted an opinion on your "unique" build and i gave it. listen to it or not, though your build might work, i still think its a failure of epic proportions

sry but i dont see it as an epic fail. besides losing out on 11% mag. increase, 40% speed increase(i buy typhoon drugs so i dont care about speed), and like 17 parry ratio(which could be added onto my equipment with blues), what else am i missing out on? the damage would be the equivelent of a 85-90% mag. balance hybrid but have the ability to tank because of maxed snow shield and ice guard skill

Seriously, there is a reason why 90weapon/ice/light build is most popular.With it you would have that 11% damage boost which will be quite visible at cap + ALSO maxed snow shield and passive. Imo weapon skills + light nukes, hell add 11% boost to ice nuke and it maybe also is not that useless (but doubt lol) + speed+ phantom+shouts and you should do fine. Correct me if I am wrong, but with 30 fire you still can get immune to ice. So, yeah it is really bad to not have light, you can ditch anything but light for nuker. Don't trust people here, think we are all idiots or simply like your so called unique build or whatever? Then go for it, if I had to choose unique build or best possible build for my char, I would pick the 2nd.

the 11% mag increase does make a lot of difference at higher lvls. at lower lvls the dmg may be negligible but when you start hitting over 10k with nukes the dmg adds up and rather quickly. as well your wep attacks will also hit higher due to imbue being affected by it.

and though you can make up for the speed and parry, you lose out on one of your best grinding nukes and quick finishes. lightning nuke is one of, if not the strongest nukes that nukers have at their disposal. as well as the lion shout series, one of the best ways for any nuker to finish off a kill quickly. in the time between nuke cooldowns, shooting off 3 shouts in quick succession basically adds up to another nuke.

i still think this is a bad idea, but in the end i guess i support people making unique builds so good luck with that...

1060~1766(300%). with 7% mag increase it would be 1134~1890

with 18% mag increase= 1250~2083

diference is only 116~193. yes the actual nuke hits over 10k+ but the diference would only be 2-3k

ya but thats also where shouts come in. 3 consecutive in about 4 secs each with 11% mag increase. the numbers do add up. but im gonna give up seeing as how your set on this build. so i wish you luck with it. if it rocks, post some vid so i can learna thing or two

i never said i was actually going to do this build, i just wanted to know what people thought of the idea. its a simpler version of the 90 weapon/fire 60 ice/light, and its more prepared for future caps

wpn/fire/ice is not a bad deal. gotta spend on typhoons for speed. the only real thing that you miss is the phantom. as for parry ... not sure the lack of it is gonna hurt that much.

I personaly dont see what is so great about the new fire nuke, iv seen full force nukers hit much more with horse's thunderbolt then hellfire, and personaly when pvp'ing another int I can shrug off fire nukes easily but light nukes rly hurt, prolly the only thing that can kill me from another nuker
