 Post subject: How far + do you go for without astral,imm, and lucky

Personally I go +3 on my shield just to get the shine... I was thinking about trying to go for more to get more shine (Yes I just like the shine, they look awesome and it makes you stand out and the extra defense isn't half bad either). I have tons of shield elixirs, but still, I'd hate to blow them all only to get +3 again.

Also, I've been wondering this for a while, is there a place that shows the different levels of shine? or atleast tells when there's a new one? I know the first shine is at +3 but I haven't seen a shield all +'s to be able to tell.

I never really use elixirs past +3 without any immortal, steady or lucky stats, usually ends up failing. And btw, for the glows:

Those glows are the glows from KSRO.... not ISRO
KSRO glow +5 = ISRO glow +5/+6
+6 = +7/+8
+7 = +9/+10/+xx

+5 is possible without lucky, immortal or steady.

the breaking(counter with immortal)/dura reduce (counter with steady) only happens when trying to make +6 or higher

I thought they got implemented after the 90 cap ? Oh well, EVENTUALLY we will see those glows.

Those glows above are not for isro. In isro we got:

+3 and +4 white
+5 and +6 red
+7 and +8 gold or yellow whatever
+9 and +10 blue.

I know there are more glows with green on it but I'm not sure what + they are.

I usually keep +3 equips on with a +5 weapon until 8D or 9D, but once I hit that everything goes to +4 or +5.
I haven't bought astral in.. probably a year, and immortal like 7 months when I was +6'ing my glavie.
Lucky.. if I just want +5 and the normal way isn't working I'll throw one on, but usually just after +5.

Astral means that when it fails, the lowest it goes to is 4... so you only went from 4 -> 5 and then stayed there? I would at least go for +7 if I had Astral. I would only really buy Astral if my item was SoX though, otherwise it's just a waste of money and elixirs.

i´ve never tried a +7 without astral/inmortal but i know people that can make +7 weapons only using inmortal/steady, and a friend of mine made his blade +8 to +9 without astral. Balls of steel.

i go for +5 without those blues :S

or at least +4, nothing happens before +4 anyways except oyu start over at +0

No time to fail and I'm not really lucky at +'s so I put an astral on it. I did that twice.
