Would a wizard make a good hunter? The only problem i see with a wizard is the hp and pot delay. Other than that, i dont see why not.

With a good party a wizard will be the perfect hunter, as long warriors, clerics and bards are focused to keep the wiz alive then nothing can go wrong with their huge damage and AOE skills they will clean NPC spawns quickly.

A wizard hunter would be better off accompanied with either a chinese, or euro str, or cleric hunter, because if a thief comes and attacks the trade, that wizard can easily be 1 hit, whereas if theres some other back up hunters, then its not all over, however wizards are ideal for taking out all thief spawns.

well.. i guess it works if ur in a team. but u CAN do it alone. just stay invisible all the time so ur not expected, once the poor thief come he'll think the trader is all alone, so he just attacks recklessly.. id love to see his face when he's lying on the floor dead after u pop out of nowhere and 1Hit him, or even 1 hit THEM !

Yes, cause a wizard makes the best trader :P Don't be rude, their is always ups and downs to every build and he need to know wut the job ups and downs for a Wizard would be.

Back to Topic: Yes. But if your expecting to fight Player Thieves, make sure to have a Warrior/Cleric there.

the problem with using a wizard as a hunter is that the wizard is an extreemy offensive build. Ie it hits very hard but cant take many hits. the problem with using a chareceter like this as a hunter is that the hunter job in its ecence is reactionary. your more likely to be ambushed by thieves than the oposite way around. that said. in any trade run. thieves are likely to fire the first shot. and if your a wizard that could mean your already dead before you can do anything. thats why i tend to belive that str chars make better hunters because they can withstand an initial attack and then respond, unlike a wizard who would probobly be dead already.
