SO recently I've noticed a lot of people dropping skills like fire,ice and light for force
Why?

It's the search for the most powerful build at the 90 cap. The good builds at the 80 cap wont be as powerful as the new builds at 90 cap. e.g. for a Pure Int Spear, the best for 80 was 80 Heuksal, 80 Fire, 70 Lightning and 70 Cold. However, the 90 cap has shown that 90 Lightning is better than 90 Fire (damage calculations), so Fire has to be deleveled. At the 90 cap the ideal build for int spear would be 90 Heuksal, 90 Lightning, 90 Cold and 30 Fire.

True....but it did explain why people aren't getting fire

Yes. Even more for pure str because theyre dmg comes from phy and magical at the same time unlike a nuke which is mag only. However if a pure int is to use a phy attack it would apply very similarly to the one of the pure str.

After debuffing with attacks from vital spot series (force mastery) you would get that increase in damage. So if I understood your question correctly, yes.
