Exemple :

I walk around talkamalkan, i am about to go sleep.
A botter auto-invite me in a 8/8 share.
No one notice, i am going to sit, or trace someone for the night.

Does this make me 'ban-able' from SRF ?

I don't want to discuss " this is legit, or not " ;
Just to know if officially it could be a motivation of ban.

I wouldn't shout at you for it. You're using botters to your advantage, it's not promoting botting it's just taking part in something that's going to be taking place anyway. To be honest, you're actually doing the right thing. You're getting the botter LESS exp by joining, so most people here would shake your hand.

You're not using a third party programme, you're not buying anything in game for real money... you're just using botters to your advantage.

I would be very surprised if this was an offense.

i think that would put u in the gray area of being legit. your not botting but u are benefitting from someone else botting and leveling you. some may say its bad, some say its ok.

At the end of the day, he's not encouraging botting and that guy is going to be botting wether he joins the party or not. You might as well, no harm done and seeing as you've went through all the grief with botters throughout your time on SRO, you might as well be entitled to something. Let bots do you a favour for once!

I mean to play legit,
I think that when i bash my hands for 3 hours exping in a share where no one talks to me, nor come when i ask some help to fight a party giant, then it s not a problem to stay around.

Botters hate it, because they consider that I get " free exp " ( a botter must pay his exp , unless he use free bot ).

I wouldn't ever do this in a party where there are other handgrinders.

Exactly, because hand grinders would just kick you out of the party.

Don't "suggest" that i am a worthless leech like you just did.

I don't put my friends at disadvantage or in trouble !

For the afk-player they can keep crying.

What the hell just happened? I'm agreeing with you, but I'm just stating the point that if you joined a legit party and went AFK they would kick you anyway, so it would never happen. Don't get so defensive =)

don't worry about. I use bots to my advanatage as well. :)

I simply make a Dist party with item share. Title it Auto Reform and only let high lvs join. Most high lv people are botter...depending on your server. After a while they will go afk and all you need to do is go to their spot. Then you will get 1/2 of their gold and items.

This is not a bannable offense on SRF but more zealous Legits will look down upon you. Thats about all.

I do want a clean gamle environment , and i mean to play in this way.

But i m not an extremist either.
For as long as cheaters will be around i will "take advantage" of the situation in the few ways i can .

interesting to see what people say about this. personally, i might join the party.

just to make things clearer about this i'll use a example :)

"someone robs a bank, and while he's running down the street, he runs into. he runs away but $500 fell out of the bag. you can either a)take the $500, or b) leave the $500. while u didnt rob the bank, you did take money that wasnt yours.

so really it just depends on how you look at it. i personally dont care, just a game, as long as you dont bot or buy gold, i dont care
