Are these skills useful for a Wizard? To cast Fear or Bind it takes approximatly the same time it takes to cast a nuke, so is it really worth it? Ive posted a topic like this before but never got any proper response. Thanks in advance

Fear is superb if it works because he/she won't be able to attack you for 10 secs, BUT it has a 80% prob and it isn't working that much for me, even at same lvl guys.
Bind is great for close range chars (blader/warrior/rogue dagger/glaive. last two got some range attacks tho) but then again..It has 80% chance, I dont have it myself because I find it useless.

Get bind, atleast the first lvl. When you see a giant, party, elite just cast bind on them. And get the hell out of there.

Never thought about using it that way.

Take them, they are definitely worth the sp. Bind for giants, fear for multiple enemies.

I think Fear its better than Bind tool i use when i have the last chance to live after vigor pots or to take advantage of the target mob. But always you have to take the fear skill actulized

I can take the giants I lvl on bloody so I dont need it And almost every build has a ranged attack so why bother casting bind on them =/

Get Fear and bind. If you get just fear then they won't be able to attack you, but against players there is nothing stopping them from running. so Fear followed by bind to prevent escape followed by LT/LC and to finish the job meteor if they have no snow shield and if they do then use mana drought followed by salamander blow.

if you ever want to be able to fight pt giants you will need them (if you are soloing)
Fear is one of the most useful skills a wizard has, I pvp quite often and when someone attacks me I put fear on them, turn on life turnover and rock them.
