 Post subject: s/s nuker build

okay im a bich/light/ice nuker
and i was wondering what skills i should have
im having doible thoughts about 2 of my sword skills
petal dance and devil cut blade
are they needed?

Devil cut can outdamage shout, and are useful in pursuing targets on horse transport. Shout has better range than devil cut. They're not essential to get, shout should be sufficient. Petal is useful to lure/powerlevel.

Tip: if you are pure int, weapon skills do not need to be maxed. Just using the imbue with a weapon skill would get a high enough damage. Getting only the last book of a particular weapon skill would suffice.

If you have the time to farm then yes. Maxing out everything is no doubt better. Time is a resource, which should be wisely spent. If you missed out on getting powerfarmed on ongs, then sp costs comes at a premium. Maxing out a fire imbue (for example) would yield more damage for a pure int charachter, than maxing out a weapon skill at a comparable level and sp cost. It is all about gains on resource expenditure.

i thin kim just gonna lower petal dance to lvl 3ish
but im gonna keep devil cut blade it has nice range
