well i had a ice bow and i think its good for grinding even if mag dmg is low bow is phy based so it shouldent metter 1st of all each shot has a 25% to frostbite which means after 4 shots freezed for sure
2nd off all if u use the range increase buff u cod have 13 shots which will be freeze for sure.
btw im new here so hi everybody

you should be killing monsters that you can kill in 2-3 shots.
Not 13.
bow is physical based but it also has high magical damage, you're losing damage by taking ice as opposed to fire/light.
And in terms of PVP ice is useless because people can get immune to being frostbitten/frozen.

Ice bow is the original PvE badass. With my STR ice bow, I went through less than 50 HP pots per grind run, and I'd repair my gear once every 2 or 3 days. :)

focus more on fire does more DMG and in pvp people are more resistant to ice so no point in ice :P

I would go fire because it does more dmg and you can almost kill the mob b4 it even get close to you. Ice its wastes little bit of arrows. If its ok for you to scrool and run back to training area then i prefer ice. Oh and rememer at 80 most people are immune so.
