ok, i have all my weapons on my belt,

im rogue sub cleric
so F1 is all my dagger skills, and 1 is my dagger
F2 is rogue skills and 1 is my dagger
f3 is my cleric and 1 is my cleric rod and 2 is my shield

going to xbow or dagger is fast, but when i try to go to my shield and rod, it takes a good second to switch, i mean , it might not sound like alot, but 1-2 seconds is alot of item for a mob to hit you a few more times, which does alot of damage to me.

im wondering how people do it? how do you just go to it instantly? i mean, at times when im fighting, it wont switch at all for over 3 seconds, which really kills me alot now a days.

what could be making it take so long, im constantly spamming both of them

Use ur "extra bar" highlight it with Space+ the number and put it above ur normal bar, same spot so numbers are easy to remember, thats how I do it :)

Qft. Has to be the easiest way to do it....you just have to get used to pressing the space ...sometimes i forget or click the wrong one-.-"

Dont wait until your charachter is stationary before switching. Sometimes you could switch to shield from your primary weapon at the end just before completing a skill.

Truth be spoken!

Always switch to your shield first... you'll have better results and if you do get hit, you take less damage and have a chance to block.

if u use ur cleric skills to just heal urself during battle, then why even try to get on a shield? it wont make such a difference.

and BTW if u want to hold both the rod and the shield, then get the shield out first :D.
and one more thing, what does QFT mean?

Well ... lets say your skills are at f1 ... I put my weapon at floating bar at number one ...
Put cleric rod and shield at 1 and 2 at f2 .... and I put healing cycle (what we all use the most when needed) at 3 in f2 bar ... and it goes fast :D ... You press f2 , start hitting 1,2,3 and when you cast it , press f1 and space +1 ... Thats how I do it :)

I'd recommend practicing on a mob that requires about 2 hits to kill. Put your weapons and shields you'll be using in that extra storage window, and about half way through the attack try switching the weapon. See how soon it will let you switch and get used to that because it'll determine if you get killed or not during a mob attack. Lord knows it helped me when fighting those kokoro (or what ever they're called near samarkand. My character's only lvl 26 with full int, so you can imagine it's quite hard to go against those things when there's more than 1 and if i need to (for some reason) switch weapons it helps to know how fast i can switch them.

If you have a G11 or G15 keyboard macros work.
I setup my G1 -> G10 keys so G1 for example = space + 1 (first slot of the extra bar)

i'm crap at switching weapons 2. i have my weapons in the extra slots at the side, and when i need 2 change i just right click the weapon about 3 - 4 times fast and then try 2 use the skill i want and hope i dont get that msg saying u have the wrong weapon equipped. cuz half the time my weapon dont change even tho i clicked it, which delays me loads.

Macros are not illegal, go to the official forums and ask (i have done so,) if they are nice enough to respond they will tell you that they them selves use macros when they play. Just cause you don’t use it or you don’t know how, is no reason to cry cheater.
