 Post subject: best build for a hybrid int nuker at lvl 90 cap

my char is going to b a sword and shield. i was thinking about the following build:

90 bicehon
90 lightning
60 fire
60 ice

The reason i chose lightning over fire was the buff for increasing magical damage and one of the lite nukes is stronger than fire. if u have any suggestions plz tell. i want to know wat ur opinions on the matter are.

ice past 60 isnt really neaded since ur a hybrid and more than 40% mana shield would be too much. the increase in phys defence from 60-90 isnt that much. i also think light past 60 isnt really needed. the diference in the amount of mag damage increase when light is at 60 and when its at 90 is only 3% and you only lose like 10% speed. but thats just my build. the 90 cap hasnt come out so no one can really say what build will be good. you got plenty of time to decide what build is right for you while your lvling to 90 :)

note: for 100 cap u will have to go 100 weapon, ice, and light. but 100 cap wont be here for like another 1-2 years, so u got plenty of time to get curst hearts

The defence buffs are worth it, and if you go 60 cold 60 fire you will only have 1 main nuke, how will you kill party mobs or giants with that?

First of all, he's an s/s nuker, second of all, this is the worst INT build i have ever heard of. Lightning nukes do more damage then fire nukes, lightning has parry ratio increases, lightning has magical damage increases, grasswalk and lion shouts. What does fire have? The strongest imbue you will say, but an imbue is not that important for a nuker since at the 90 cap if they start fighting like a bunch of glaviers/bladers they will NEVER win, its nukes that will make the difference not a chain or a useless KD. As for the rest, all that fire has is fire shield (kinda useful but what are the chances to meet someone using cold imbue? and wizards and ice nukers can't frostbite/freeze fast enough for it to be of any use) and the pretty much useless magical defence increase of which you already have plenty.

ugh forgot about the s/s, sry im hella tired right now. anyway, the reason i sugested that build was becuase of these stats:

speed-piercing force lvl 3= 15% mag increase
force-piercing fore lvl 3= 18% increase

thats only 3% more

the diference between grass walk lvl 3 and lvl 12 is only 15%

lion shout is really only useful for finishing off a mob when it has like 15% hp or less, just use one of the Smashing series skills instead, takes about the same time to cast.

the difference betweeen concentration 2nd lvl 6 and concentration 4th lvl 3 is only 7%, your gear can easily give you that 7%

horses thunderbolt lvl 9 hits 876-1627, the new fire nuke hits 1028-1714

the passive at lvl 60 and the passive at lvl 90 is only a 5% difference



like i said before, no one can tell you what build to pick, and no one knows what build will be best at the 90 cap since it hasnt come out yet

there is a huge increase in phy def ice guard buff at ice 68, so u need ice 90 cuz of that + ice passive, u can always use lower lvl snow shield if not enough mp
