And just to clarify, the reason why the proof against Luoma was so outstanding, was because his information in his profile, the profile of the account posted and linked to were the same, as well as admittance.

I've been wondering the same thing. I see nothing wrong with Avalon. I think they're doing a good thing.

having knowledge on bots does not say you are a bot yourself, some people like to explore and extend their knowledge on things without actually using them.

Personally, this is prolly the hardest case to even form an opinion of.

I think Syl's obvious intimate relationship with the same ppl he is supposed to be eliminating from the forum is a direct conflict of interest as a moderator. He should then prolly only be a moderator for areas that do not involve the game or stripped altogether.

But not banned.

There should be a moratorium on proof. Getting banned for some 6 month old movie off a server you dont play anymore isnt really fair. WitchHazel admitting to botting on his last server here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=81413&p=1025732#p1025732 engendered no big outcry for banning yet that is more proof than Ito or Syl have against them.

You have to find some kind of current proof. If you dont have a recent vid or pic of Syl botting, you really have nothing at all.

bullshit, people are getting banned for having once botted a year ago.

Some people don't even play the game anymore and are only active in Off-Topic, yet they get banned.

We can't make it like if you don't play SRO anymore, you won't get banned.

Then every botter can say he/she doesn't play silkroad.

It's too easy. As for Sylhana, i totally agree with you, he shouldm't be mod anymore. If a ban is necassary? I really don't know.

I have to agree there does seem to be a conflict of interest there. It's one thing to perhaps get an account at a botting forum and lurk around, seeing what the botting community is talking about. However, it's an entirely different issue if you're actively participating in the discussions, helping them, and things like that.

we've seen SS's of other members on Bot forums chatting it up and discussing bot related topics. Nothing was done the evidence was deemed insufficient. SO either overrule the previous decisions and lay down the ban hammer ona couple ppl or Lock this topic and let Syl go cause theres no point in continuing the discussion.
