Hi,

Im lvling a pure int spear, with cold and light and heuksal as masteries. I started using cold imbue because it helps me survive in PvE, since mobs have no resistance against cold.
What I was wondering though, does cold make me hit much lower than lighting? The lower value of cold is a bit higher than lighting but the higher value is a lot lower ... but still, is it really noticeable?

Thanks for you opinions in advance!

If they're leveled to the same level cold imbue hits a lot lower than lightning.

The difference between damage is not that big.

pro's; lightining-> -hit more mobs around you
-able to stun
-nice nukes
con's-> hit more mobs around you (since your full int you can get mobbed)

pro's; cold-> -like you said your self, mobs dont have restistance against cold
-Freeze!!!
-Slows enemy's down.
con's-> - i can't find some con's, some say's its weak i personally prefer it.

It's wich suits you the best but i can tell you to stand vs an ice nuker is annoying xD

At lvl 120:
Cold max power = 1600
Light max power = 2300
Fire max power = 2600.

You can transfer Stun through AoE with Lightning imbue. It is quite hand in PvE when facing giants. There is to much Immunity being thrown around for it to be worth it. In PvE though I think it would be pretty cool.

for pve... you could get by with a lv 5 ice imbue :S (first one)

it wont last long on at generals, but if you just want to stop attack for a second, it will still freeze/frostbite them then go away

edit: but you're damage will be low... though for a nuker, that wont really matter in pve so much

Ice = More Phy Def. + Slows down Enemeys - Weakest Nuke

Fire = More Mag Def. (Useless your already Int based) + Strongest Nuke

Light = More Parry + Speed + Decent Nuke

You decide.

I'm thinking cold imbue with lighting nuke could be sexy.

Actually I was using cold imbue with lightning nuke, and also cold imbue with cold nuke, mobs would freeze a LOT. But I have lightning imbue now, and damage seems to be a but bigger + more splash damage ... its so hard to choose :(

Ice imbue is great at lower levels. It does seem less useful at higher lvls though. I have both ice and lightning. I use weapon skills though so I don't see all that much difference in damage. And lightning can't transfer stun or knockdown, if you read the skill description you will see that those skills have area attack.
