Like I said bro. I really like it. Although I think if you took the chick out of the tag, it would look better.

"If you take the chick out of it it'll look better"

>.> That's harsh although I frikin agree.

You've improved a lot since I last saw you but in terms of my opinon, you still haven't grasped the basic concepts of how a sig can look good. First is depth. The chick and the tree looks like they're cutouts from a magazine and just pasted together. They look exactly on the same dimension. The left side of the chick pops out and its not blended at all.

The text is a bit big for my taste and for some reason the style you did your text, along with the squares, doesn't seem to be the perfect fit style for this sig.

No hun ^^ It means they're FLAT looking (just like my chest, wtf who said that??!?)
BLENDED would mean they look naturally um...interracting with each other I guess?

Hm and can you see that the color palettes of the tree and the girl doesn't match? I would throw in some adjustment layers here and there.

God, Milly, you can allways make me giggle...

I like it, but I miss the dawny feeling...

A bit mist and some dark, a sleepy sun trying to break through...

that's what I see at dawn...

not some gal trying to get there or something like that...

5.6/10

Yeah =\ I'm really picky, but then sometimes you make something, you think its perfect but other people can point out a lot of flaws from it. I usually fix my sigs like 6 times after I post it the first time xD

Well i have no intention of saying its my best work but i dont think you guys fully understand how hard it is to blend in a photomanip sig, especially if your using a totally different stock for the bg.
Sure i could just smudge the bg add a c4d or use pen tools throw a couple of clipping masks in there but I dont wanna be boring and mudane and use the same concepts over and over again. This is my second photomanip, i think i deserve a little break

A little slack? Theyre just telling you what the think, its one of those basic things.. depth. If we didnt crit you properly you'd be making the same things over and over agian thinking evryone loves what you do. And even still i havent sadi everything bacause i already cut you a little slack. This could be good if you fix those smalls things.

In my opinion, I doubt many, if any, people here have done a realism tag. I don't think people realize how difficult they really are to do. But remember, it's just peoples opinion, and everybody is going to see things differently, you're always going to have people who love it, and those who don't. Take both sides of criticism. If you know a harsh comment doesn't apply to you, just shrug it off. Only advice I can give you. Team Carbon!

I think it's like making a sig without the use of c4ds brushes etc. Mostly just taking images from different stocks and making it into one image, right?

well if it makes you feel good when you get only good criticism like "looks nice",
"Pretty good", "Pretty sweet" etc... then why keep posting your sigs here asking
for our comment? if that other forum of yours is so great, then why even listen to
what we have to say here?

man i hate whiners.
you ask for criticism, you get criticism.
i'm not after criticism thats why you never see me make NSR topics.

edit: if i remember correctly, you got the exact same comment by other users not
too long ago. stuff like you need to cut them some slack because you weren't even
capable of giving good, positive comments. back then you thought that was the right
thing to do; no sweet talk, just tell them what you don't like about the pieces.
so why is it different now that people comment you?

take what you can get and improve your sigs based on that. If you feel they are wrong then thank them for the comment, ignore them, and move on, no need to advance it any further than that. I would be so nauseated if people here tried to make everything too "acceptable to the common artist" in a sense. :)

I've been a member of numerous gfx sites and still am. Honestly the critique you got from me would be the same if not worse on other forums. Ofcourse, there will always be someone who loves your style and others who don't care for it. It is art afterall. I've been doing gfx for many years, so although many don't see my opinions to be "professional" I do know what i'm talking about. On a personal note, I think you should join up gfx sites, you should hear other experienced artist's views on your work. I'll try to be more clear with my criticism in the future.

+1
if you think the comments on here are harsh...lol

Meh.

Pretty much. It's just taking a lot of different pictures/stocks and merging them together to make it look like it's really one. It's a lot harder then you might think. Which is what I did with my current tag.

I dont remember ever writing in my previous posts that the other forum was better or greater, i simply said i get mixed signals when i visit one site and get bad review then visit another and get good review on a sig.

actually hurt, that felt more like an insult than a critique on the actual sig itself. I hope i clarified myself.

Photomanipulation tags mainly rely on good blending, great color, and excellent stock. If you fail at finding either one of these your final product will not turn out so well. Its more difficult than the usual sig because blending is a b!tch and the stocks have to be placed in the correct order or else things look completely wrong. + it relies more on placement&color rather on effects.
Sorta like a movie. There are some movies out there that look b@d@ss due to their special effects and cgi while others barely have any of those special effects but rely more on the acting and storyline.

You had bad blending, good color on the tree and bad color blending. Thus I said you don't know how the sig should look if its supposed to look good. If you knew these points why didn't you work on it? =\
