Whats up with SRF

for some od reason i logged in first try this morning and servers were at full

Funny. All the people posting that SRF has gotten boring are all the CB's and Bot Defenders. All the people that think it's as useful as ever and still enjoy coming here and discussing the game are legits. The past week has been about as fun as SRF has ever been. Thanks SG and the mod staff for taking out the trash.

so you accuse ppl who you have no clue if they bot or not and you just speculate that they do? just cause i think this forum is going down hill a little doesnt mean i bot and you shouldnt say that either

Did your post say anything about SRF being boring? In fact, you provided a solution to the people who claim SRF is becoming boring. Why did you automatically think when I referred to bots I was referring to you?

Look, all the people that are whining that SRF has become boring in the last 4 days are trying to prove their point that SRF would go downhill when all their botter friends got banned. They believe that saying it enough will make it true. It hasn't. It's a stupid thing to say. SRF is as strong as it's ever been.

And check what most ppl talk about and what is the most post about.
Players changed, game changed, game rules changed, but go ahead read up on it for yourself.

Past forums : Silkroad Oasis, Silkroad Tavern, ppl moved on.

This is a legit forum

If you want a forum filled with "informative interesting" posts from people who aren't legit, go to a different forum.

This is SRF. SRF is the most active forum there is. It will one day be dominated with legit people. That is what SRF should be. Once again, if you want a forum with non legit people go to a different forum.

SRF isnt dying, its being purified.

it's not the massive ban of bots that made SRO 'dying', like i sai before, i think there is nothing interesting left to discuss.

that explains all those: 'look what i did today' and 'look my weapon' topics

Thats what the topic starter implied..

well not so much that exactly, but more implied the idea that bots do post those topics.. the "omgz new weapons" or "omgs lvl 80" topics.

LOL yeah, but...

We'll get a bunch of "first sos on Hera" posts, etc.

There was a flurry of activity end of last summer with the Euro and academies.

Then a flurry of activity in the fall with Venus opening and events.

There was a flurry of activity over the winter with FW.

It goes up and down. It's down now. It'll be up again soon, probably with the cap raised and new area opening...next month or two? Not the end of SRO or SRF. I've been as active in the last two weeks as I've ever been.

Your never EVER going to get a completely legit forum, i know so many people who use these forums that have been around since the 60 Cap with me, and most of them bot these days. Of corse they wouldnt admit it on the forums.
So you think its a legit forum, but there are lots of people that probably wont get caught as botters, and they will still post and be active in the forum.

Yes, but at least now botters can't publicly flame legits anymore. It's the other way around. We will not edit out flames from legits directed at proven botters. Closet botters now know they are not welcome here anymore. Sure, they can make a fake identity here, but what's the fun of that? They can't participate in threads like 'highest damage contest' etc. anymore. Eventually they're fooling themselves.
