 Post subject: [New] Avatar options. [S/S Nuker, which should I get? ]

I'm about to become a S/S nuker (full int) and I'm curious about which are the best options I could grant my Suit(White Arabian[M]) with.

For the luck thing... shouldn't you get a 'special' suit... like for enchanting only.

The HP/MP recovery actually heals you more. I found that out the hard way. I had 2 sets of the witch suit. One had hp/MP recovery the other didn't. I died more often and used more mp pots with the second one on than with the first one.
I'd say it would be better to replace the 150 hp with a str or int.

What does 'damage absorption' actually do?
I somewhere read it was to decrease the speed of durability loss?
Is this true?
If so, isn't parry ratio 5% increase more useful?

& I'm not sure about the 25% recovery @ the attachment yet...
5% Attack Rating is pretty useful too you know =p

If it really works while fighting I do think it's a good option @ the dress.
Though I'm still not sure if it really works while standing.
Some ppl say it does... others say it doesn't.

Dmg absorption absorbs the % of dmg you take. Let's say you take 100 dmg with 5% dmg absorb. You only take 95 dmg. There is also dmg absorb on your accessories. I'm not sure what would be more useful at high levels.
The dmg absorb with your accessories is like this:
Necklace: 10 dmg absorb (absorb 10% of the dmg)
earrings: 8 dmg absorb (absorb 8% of the remaining dmg)
ring1: 5 dmg absorb (absorb 5% or remaining dmg)
5% dmg absorb on avatar: etc.
ring2: 4.7 dmg absorb (etc.)
I am unsure about the order it goes in but I think it starts at the highest absorb and goes in descending order.

5% parry I think might be better for higher levels but since I have no experience past lv 64 I can't give you a good answer.

The one on the attachment is more of a: more survivability or more dmg.
You can go whichever you want.

I'm not an expert on the avatar stats so I'm answering to the best of my ability.

Are you sure HP/MP actually heals more often? ie. the HP pots would heal 25% more than what it normally does? eg. XL pot = 1000 HP, so with avatar option it gives 1250 HP instead?

It would heal 25% more hp/mp.
afaik it's true.
I haven't been on since May but I remember testing with and without the hp/mp recovery increase.
I will be gone for the next few days so I won't be able to help.

11->71

EFFECT: +545%

EFFECT: +8.6%


NOTICE!
-The Recovery ONLY happens when standing still. Not when attacking/moving.
-The Effect @ Pots can be NULLIFIED because I used them while standing still so the extra recovery came from standing still.




CONCLUSION:
The 25% will only have effect while sitting & standing STILL. [=not while attacking & running]
It won't have any effect on potions.



... is it still such an awesome option @ the avatar now? =P

The order doesn't matter as the absorbtion goes in factors. like 1.1 etc. and (example) 10*5*3 is the same as 3*5*10 and is the same as 5*3*10
