Sure higher rates would be nice and all but in all the other P servers you grind from 0-1XX all at once. As I mentioned before caps will go up 10 at a time, if rates are 5x and you have a GT/Prem your rates then will be 10x, 10x going up 10 levels is very easy, as I've done it twice on ECSRO without a problem.
When I create my Eu. character I may buy a SP ticket (depending on how high the SP rates are compared to the EXP) in the beginning, cap then farm my ass off so I never have to again.
I don't find it necessary to buy a GT/Prem until 90 cap, especially if I'm party grinding.

If you like high rates stay with ZSZC and SWSRO. Keep in mind the pros and cons of the servers though.
Other P servers - high EXP, farming, lag, bots, outdated files which can't be altered much, no avatars, GT/Prems aren't functional(meaning double your EXP/SP gain), the list goes on.
eSRO may have low rates but it will be a replica of KSRO.

Now that you've mentioned bots, will there be any special treatment against them? The amount of bots in other pserver is unacceptable.

I have a question, for people like me ( can't use Paypal because it's not supported in Egypt and most online methods ) How can I pay for premium or other silk items?

There will be other ways to donate, I too can't use PayPal due to an error of mine.
You 'donate' then receive silk rather than directly buying it, sort of like ECSRO did.
Waiting time would probably be under 24 hours for everybody once they receive your money.

I haven't played SRO for over a year and eSRO will be a really nice welcome back.
While I was in pre-CB it was stable and I didn't find many bugs, so we're off to a good CB start.

Sry, i didn't know, that the other private servers have higher exp than sp rates. And anyway i would never play on a private server without european characters. Furthermore on any other private server are bots, which would be a another reason not to play there. I don't really mind if there is less farming, but no farming at all wouldn't be that good actually. For me farming is part of the game and it's just nice to see, how strong your character can get after closing a higher gap and how fast you level then. I am usually farming step by step and at the beginning i don't really care about, how much is needed for being FF at cap. I just pick levels, where you get very important skills for your build (for example healing cycle at cleric, division debuff at warlock, etc.) and set them as my next aim to be farmed at. Then it's usually going quite fast. Currently i am playing KSRO with some old mates from TSRO anyway, but i'll probably go take a look at ESRO and see, how is it going there, but i'll probably won't give up my Lv.70FF warlock/cleric.

With a good euro pt 5-10k SP per day are not really a problem. With let's say 2x EXP and 4x SP rates, you could get 20-40k SP already without premium, which is really a lot. If you count in SP tickets or premium it would be even more. If you play 30 days (1 months) getting around 30k SP each day, you could have 900k already, 2 months at this rates and you'll have almost 2M SP already, which is enough to be FF at lv.100. Around 4 months to be FF lv.110, that's really kinda fast imo. And rates will probably be even higher than that. Oh, and i am not counting in any silk items, as i am probably not going to use them. Counting them in, you could be a lot faster.

Anyway, anyone here going to make a guild for doing pt leveling regularly? I am quite an experienced player at almost all builds and would just take that build, which is lacking, i'd prefer doing warrior/x (probably cleric, maybe warlock) or wizard/cleric this time though.

i'll probably make a Battle Bard if the SP rates are higher if not i think ill go with Rouge/Bard.

You need to consider your case isn't a generality. Ok, you like farming, but you're not alone here. Not everyone has as much time to play as you probably do, and I really don't see why builds such as warlock/cleric should be reserved for hardcore players only, don't be selfish. Private servers are about making the game more accessible to everyone after all. I really don't see why grinding 3 more months than everyone else should give you such a privilege when most of us here already grinded for a long time and proved to be worthy of such builds. I think it would maybe be a good idea to get this voted.

See, after Rawr mentionned SP tickets here's what I'd suggest. Make the SP rate 3x higher than the EXP rate. That way you'll have to farm if you don't buy the SP ticket, and as with an SP ticket would make it 6x SP rate then you'd be able to 0 gap to 100 if you buy one. This way, GMs would still make money from the SP tickets, and you could still chose to not buy one and farm if you love farming so much.

Well, if you think, that i have lots of time for playing SRO, you are wrong. I am currently studying physics, which means, that i usually have only time in the evening or at the weekends. Anyway, i don't care about being slow with leveling at all, i just enjoy having pts with my friends in the evening and as long as i have people at my level around, who know, how to play in pts, i just enjoy the game. In fact, i like the way to the cap more than being FF and at cap, because then you can only do job, pvp, etc. the whole day. Sure, you can help other people getting to cap to and farm some SP while doing that, but in the end, i think it will just get boring, because there won't be anything new anymore. No new skills, because you already have all skills maxed, no new monsters, because you are leveling already at the highest monsters. Of course you can still farm drops and alchemy to make better equipment, but i don't know, if this would be motivating enough for me to continue playing. I'd probably just make another character, when i am at cap already or most likely even before. I don't care about being the best anyway, and at lv.30 i can have the same fun as on Lv.80+, if there are the right people around me.

Oh, you are Silvertaler then, right? I didn't notice it was you. But you should also know, that i don't know yet, if i will stay on ESRO, i'll try it most likely and if i enjoy the partys and the whole community on ESRO more than the pts/community on KSRO, i'll probably stay. If i stay on ESRO, i would probably join your guild then, as we had quite a lot fun together on TSRO. Anyway i think it's too early to make concrete plans about guilds already, we still have enough time to do it, when the server is running.

how do you party with your friend if they are 30 levels above you?

On a server without bots, there should be pts available at any level range. Some people will fall behind, others will catch up instead, so you can and should just make new friends. I did that on TSRO and it worked out really good. And sooner or later you'll probably catch up to your old friends again, then you will be able to play with them again, but on a fully legit server getting outleveled by your friends shouldn't be such a big problem actually, as other people will just replace them. Even with higher rates some people will outlevel you, as they simply have more time. With higher rates they might be even faster at outleveling you than usual. If you played on TSRO before the bots were coming, then you should have seen, that there were enough pts from crabs until pegs and in most of them the people knew how to play, so getting outleveled wasn't really a problem at the beginning. Later on, when the bots were invading, it got harder and harder to find pts at lower levels, but at the beginning it was just fine. Many people outleveled me at sungsungs, as i farmed quite a bit SP there for being FF at lv.44, later on i nearly caught up with them again and in the end we were pting together at niya generals again.

Yes I am Silvertaler. I understand your point of view and I partly agree with it, but like Cell pointed out I don't like being outleveled by my friends and left behind either. Sure there can be parties at all levels, but I'd like to stick with the group I'm partying with.
Ok sure parties are fun, I agree, being capped and having nothing left to do may be boring I suppose, but that's not what makes farming more enjoyable. I may like parties as well, but I have my limits to it, I would still hate being in the same kind of party for over a month. Honnestly you shouldn't even be worried about getting to the cap too fast, getting to level 100 won't be easy for you if you say you're a casual gamer so I don't see why you're even worrying. See, many people already quit before level 90 on other private servers out of boredom, and at even lower levels on iSro. Even if you remove farming you'll still have enough time to get the fun you want from the game.

There will be bots on ESRO. Why? Because every mmorpg has them no matter if f2p or p2p runescape has them, wow has them, age of conan has them. These games are p2p and with all the anti-bot systems they have they are still unable to ban bots. You can also buy gold with real money in all these games. Forget about being one of the best if you aren't a cheater and gold buyer too.

I still think, that you can still get outleveled with higher sp rates too, probably even easier than with lower sp rates, as nobody has to farm and if your friends are just a little bit more active, they would outlevel you soon due to 0 gapping all the way. If they would have to farm, you could still pick a build, which doesn't need that much SP or which can be farmed at higher levels too, to compensate it at least a little bit. But if everyone is just going gap 0, that ones with more time will seperate from that ones with less time even faster than usual, at least that's my theory. So getting outleveled by your friends is not really an argument against lower rates for me, as you can get outleveled at any rates, at higher rates probably even faster than at lower ones. And there will always be people, who just can't keep up with the leveling speed of other people, regardless of the rates.

Oh, and on a server with regular, good pts, i won't get bored for sure. If you can't find a pt at a certain time, you can just ask around in guild/union, if somebody wants to trade. As you probably remember, i did quite a lot trades, mainly together with Water, if there weren't any pts for me available or when i had to wait in line. On a server without bots, there shouldn't be that many capped thieves/hunters, so jobbing at lower levels should be possible too and quite interesting.

But we'll see, how everything is going to turn out in the end.

And another thing, i am not strictly against higher rates, i just think they shouldn't be too high. I just think, that they won't solve all problems and will probably bring up other new problems, even if some problems can be solved like that. A good balance between low and high rates should be made, so that the main principles in the game are still there, but you just need less time to achieve certain things.

Oh no doubt there will be people trying to bot and few will succeed.
From what I know epvp won't be trying to make bots to run on eSRO, if anybody makes a bot they will post it on a forum allowing the team to see what they need to do to block it rather than applying a simple patch.
If a user launches a blocked program it will simply kick the person off or it can be setup to ban them if they launch a bot.
There are other methods to see to it that botters will get caught/banned as well.
None of the previous bots created will work on eSRO as they are.
Sure people can sell and buy gold, without bots they won't be able to get much of it.
ECSRO did a good job at banning bots just from using a couple GMs, if they had security that would stay updated and cared about the botters there wouldn't be many of them.
