Okay, apparently you don't know when to STFU and GTFO. 2009 Oxford Dictionary wrote: The term race or racial group usually refers to the categorization of humans into populations or groups on the basis of various sets of heritable characteristics. The most widely used human racial categories are based on salient traits (nationality, skin color, cranial or facial features and hair texture), and self-identification. Kthxbai. Awesome So according to your argument I'm of the same "race" as a deep-black son of Saharians because we both have the same nationality although i'm a white green-eyed Caucasian. Turkey is a country not a race, Turks are people from Turkey. Thread derailed i guess. I'm sure there are people of plenty of different "races" (ethnic groups) living in Turkey. To get back on topic, the Turks in this story may have been cheap motherfuckers ganging a lower level but if you think of it they do pretty much what everyone does in pvp : sticking to your strengths and using them. It just means that their only strength is botting a char to cap and ganging newbs. Other people enjoy winning against characters of higher level who are wearing better gear. I'm somewhat in the middle : I enjoy killing people way above my level thanks to my full SOX gear. That's lame of me, just as lame as it is of Turks doing what you said. "Self-esteem boost" as one poster said. Precisely what the OP was into with his SOS s/s, should I reiterate:)

But what I do know is that the more we continue to undermined their Turkish background based on their actions, the more they will continue to act in a manner in which we all hate.
Even the Turkish player who isn't an a** hole will start to be one. Just think how you'd act if everyday you log in the game or come here on SRF and constantly see derogative comments about your nation/country/race etc. It would probably start to affect you.
What I'm saying is that its us that sometime cause and create this Turkish annoyance by continuing to attack them based on where they are from. The cycle wont stop unless either they or us initiate it. Besides..as we all know...there are a** hole in every country. Agreed. Very sensible of you. It applies to everyone. As a European I like jumping on the usual American retard who blathers about the believed superiority of his country and people. No one likes people claiming to be superior to others because of the country they come from.

Well yeah, I do. I can kick someone's ass just because I'm wearing better gear, how is that fair? It's pretty much lame. No skills of mine involved except market-related skills. Oh wow I'm a better staller than you, how virile lol

So, following your logic, being full farmed is unfair, leveling is unfair, wearing equipment is unfair, plussing equipment is unfair, wearing a shield is unfair, why on earth are we playing this or any other mmo game if everything's unfair? I can't make sense of what you said.

But everytime I get teamed or being sweared at, it's by some Turkish named player or some player in a Turkish guild. It's not always by Turkish players but 95% of the time it is, so it's really their own fault. Of course the Turks behave like shit GENERALLY. But so what? They do what everyone else does : playing with the cards they have. They just have lamer cards than Europeans and Americans have. I tend to get pissed off at lamers in general, not focusing on which country they come from. I guess there is a higher proportion of lamers being Turkish than being European, but I don't even care to think about things that way. And you get surprises to contradict your comfortable stereotypes if you remain open to reality. I once met a group of Egyptians on Poseidon who were pretty much dignified.

I can't make sense of what you said. No problem. As I said, a pvper who likes playing with inferior gear and level is more respectable to me than I am. And I suppose that if you're a good pvper you'll routinely kick the asses of the people having same gear, lvl and SP as you do. So looking for a challenge you'll go for people who have unfair advantages over you. I'm no pvper but I enjoy cape pvp and CTF at times. I don't need my unfair advantages to have fun, in fact the funniest fights are the ones that are pretty much even. But I don't see how I could define wearing full SOX gear anything else than an unfair advantage. I met a few guys who really are into pvp : they develop tactics to make best of their build, it's impressive and I sort of envy them. My point on the OP's story was that everyone is the same when it comes to pvp : we all want our self esteem boost so why blame someone because he only can get it through ganging newbies? It's an admission of inferiority and insecurity from his part, so why being upset about it? I had fun fights also with full-sun dudes who were lower level than me.

This guy has 1 weapon, one set of armor and is fighting people propperly designated according to ctf. The people that were raping his ass were signifigantly higher level, and there was way moe of them. There is a difference between having good gear, and being a bully. They were being bullies. And by the way, saying marketing skills shouldn’t effect game play is also very retarded. this is a game based on marketing and its effects on a society(s). If I am capable of legitimately purchasing good gear, then I should be able to do it without some whiny motherfucker telling me I don’t have the right to do so. Should every one pvp with npc unplussed gear and weapons? That’s ignorant. Your completely ass-backwards in your reasoning.

I do that all the time and everywhere, only I throw a fit of 5 to ten posts then disappear from the place and go find another one to babble on. I started browsing SRF these days looking for info about Venus. I ended up reading the general discussion forum and here I am replying. Don't worry I'll disappear soon and you wont hear of me for months.
