Project Reality is for YOU!!!! Project reality (PR) is an award-winning realism mod for battlefield 2. It changes bf2 into something totally different; a realism mod aimed to be as close to real life as possible. What makes PR a game of realism and teamwork is that it divides teams into squad-specific roles. There are transport helicopter squads, infantry squads, tank squads, etc etc that follow their specific roles and duties.
There are a total of 11 factions and many real and fictional maps. Some maps pit American forces against taliban insurgents, some maps play russians versus militia, and others pit the American military versus china.
No bunny hopping, no games that get gayed by campers, and no little kids to ruin your fun. The realism creates an atmosphere where you might not meet the enemy for more than 5 min. You might not die for a long time. There are no mobs of people jumping up and down each other trying to gun each other in the face. Many people do not like this type of slower paced gameplay, but the ones that do have achieved a level of maturity and patience to play at the highest level of online teamwork and gameplay.
No asshats or losers to teamkill you or destroy team assets. The ones that do are banned/kicked instantly. Expect people who expect you to get the job done and play your role as best you can. This also comes to flying jets or helicopters or driving bradleys and strykers. LEARN TO FLY/DRIVE in a practice server before you try out in an online server!! This is not bf2.
All you need to play is a better than average computer/laptop, vanilla bf2, and a headset. Expect your time in PR a shitty one if you don't have a headset. Get one!!! Ask me if you need help installing or general ingame tips.
