From the looks of JD, it looks pretty fun and since SRF plays, I know that there will be some great guilds.

Can you guys fill me in on the features of the game?

The game looks good and I'll download and play if you all can shed some light.

Also, tell me what server you guys play on!

Thanks!

we play on server USA-East (The Billows), mostly
on realm 15 but you can log in on any realm and
chat with people on other realms so that doesn't
really matter.

there's a couple of different build types, like
healers, tanks, dps'ers, debuffers.

leveling is hella fast (also due to the fact that
the level cap starts at 150).

you can levelup without handgrinding 24/7 by either
using the Meditation (you stand afk in town and gain
xp, mostly good on lower levels, the higher you get
the less xp you get), or you can level up by setting
your esper, which is basically an ingame program that
runs your char for you and autopots etc. this works
up to 91 (i think).

fun enchanting system, great community (us <3), good
chat system, guild/alliance system, pvp is either pvp
server or duels or alliance wars or battlegrounds,
easy to make money, item mall, you can buy coins for
either real money or with ingame money from other
players (so you don't HAVE to pay real money to get
item mall items), etc. list of goodies goes on but i
guess best way to find it out is by installing the
game and start playing.

for builds, read the guides that are stickied in this
section.

Sounds like a great game!

I've been playing SRO <boo> for 3 years and haven't really come across any game that I would enjoy as much, but with the traffic, I'm leaving SRO for good. JD looks to be the replacement!

My download will be done in ~50 minutes and I will try to be online so I can grasp the basics. (The game looks pretty complicated :P)

Thanks!

Hit L for help, there are some basic instructions on how to navigate (mouse click or WASD) and cast skills. You can meditate while you read the forums. Check out http://jd-forum.perfectworld.com/ There is a lot of info there.

You're an "initiate" in Sunstream City until you choose what faction you'd like to be. That's at level 15.

Modo, Vim, skysong, Lupin or Jadeon. Each class has its own skills.

There are some guides in this forum, the basics are there.

Yeah. I hear most Europeans get better connection on the USA servers than on the European servers.
Edit: And the Euro server was dead while I was there...
