I know right! The guy who's getting stabbed also had a mask, in a larger image you see it fell off his face. But Ezio should wear a mask and a costume, too! And we should totally be able to pick from 89317409749028473 different costumes to ensure he looks better than everyone else.

qouted from the sneak peak internview "Will Ezio the Nobleman and Ezio the Assassin be anything like Bruce Wayne and his alter ego Batman? Is being an assassin his “secret identity” in some way? I would rather compare Ezio’s fate to the Count of Monte Cristo as him and his family are betrayed by some of the powerful people of Italy. Ezio is at first on a quest for vengeance to make the responsible pay for this treason. He will discover that there is a much bigger conspiracy behind all of this that threatens the world itself."
*Threatens the world itself? o.o The story line might actually be enough to hold me to the game, and his belt buckle.. woah.. pure illuminaiti propoganda, pyrimid with the all seeing eye, thanks Ruyi for scanning all those magazine articles, Brillaint thread.
*Edit Even more amazing story plot from the magazine scan Behind it all 2 forces vie for the Hearts and minds of people, Continuing a conflict that stretches back into history, from the fields of the crusades 300 years earlier to a mysterious future of consipirocy and secrets,
Dayum , i wana see how they tie the past and future together in the story !
Assassin's Creed 2 budget to be bigger than the original's
Ubisoft is laying down some big money on Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360). During their year-end results call to analyst, company CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that they're increasing the production budget for it to make the game bigger and better, quality-wise.
According to Guillemot, the Assassin's Creed sequel will have a budget roughly 20 percent bigger than the original game. With a production budget well beyond US$ 20 million, Assassin's Creed (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) used to be the biggest-budgeted game that Ubisoft ever made.
Assassin's Creed 2 will is currently scheduled to come out around Q4 2009.
------ Ubisoft advertises in French for a Japanese magazine:
Spoiler!
La vérité s'écrit dans le sang = The truth is written in blood.
lol This seems much more mysterious, these masks are giving a good psychedelic feeling to it. Like there is more then it seems, idk. Either way, hope the 'extra budget' will be worth it.

It's terrible, but if you drag him to court and he goes to jail we won't get to play Assassin's Creed II. And I just managed to find another store that sold the AC2: Black Edition pre-order. :(
Anyway, I dug up more footage. Omg. More. Yes. You never seen enough of Assassin's Creed II.
The puzzle I mentioned in my previous post, if you solve it, you could listen to "Trailer Music 2009", which didn't work yesterday. It now is working and - in my opinion - it's really beautiful.
Assassin's Creed Gameplay: Code: Select all
Ubisoft showed some gameplay during Sony's Press Conference. If you buy Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines for the PSP, you can unlock stuff for Assassin's Creed II on your PS3. I love the idea of using the hot air from fire for speed and altitude.
Assassin's Creed II Premium Theme: Code: Select all
Costs 240 Microsoft Points.
EDIT: I got the theme myself, so I took some photo's.
meh fine. i'll let him go about my clothes. as long i star in AC3.
but anywho. i think the lighting at night from the torches on him is just amazing...and...yea. Everything is just awesome. I really cant wait!
The first one was great but it became repetitive, and i think they're doing what they can to bring more to the game which they've so far succeeded in my opinion. If a sequel is too much like the first one people dont like it, and if its too different from the first one people dont like it. Poor Developers.
If its fun, I'm happy. It looks amazing so far and looks to be entertaining, looks like they put work into it and didnt just put a 2 in the title and try to resell the same game.
I just hope Bol doesn't screw up. In the past people pre-ordered some game, and half of them got the game for a console they didn't own. And they ran out of pre-order copies.
Here's more:
Besides the Limited Black Edition, there's also a Limited White Edition for Assassin's Creed II. This one includes a white collectable Ezio figurine, Assassin's Creed hooded shirt, collectible white packaging and Bonus in-game content. Couldn't find an image, sadly.
It seems to me that the Black Edition has more stuff, I don't know how much you care about goodies lol. The ingame bonus content might be the same as the Black Edition, though I'm not sure. The hoodie is cool but I'd drown in it anyway.
LOL go ask them if you can have that poster, you could cover everything, the walls, ceiling, floor and you'd still have enough to wrap your furniture in it lol. Even better, wrap it around your house and show the world you are a true Assassin's Creed fan! Just don't forget to leave a spot open for the door. And send us pictures so we can admire your complete house make over.
that figure looks really cool, hope it's actually that detailed for the real thing. unfortunately, it seems that most non-anime figurines (or any figurine made outside of japan) are crappy.
